Brilliant mix of a guesthouse and apartment with shared kitchen and dining area, beautifully kept, fantastic location, and very helpful owner. We had the spacious big bedroom. On the third floor, but right in the middle of old Zadar.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter period. The rooms were clean and well kept and the communal spaces were nice and homely. There was also WiFi in the rooms and a PC and printer in the common room which was useful for printing tickets etc. As we were aiming for a cheap holiday we decided to eat in... More

My partner and I stayed here for only one night unfortunately as we were travelling through Europe. I have OCD so im overly fussy about cleanliness and wasn't expecting much from a 'hostel' of sorts. But when we arrived we were greeted by the owner Maria, we instantly felt at home. She's very friendly and keeps up pristine standards of... More

I wouldn't normally stay in a room without an ensuite but at Kolega this wasn't a problem. The rooms are huge and spacious with AC If you need it. Great kitchen facilities to make meals and hang out and a self service washing machine. The owner Marin was really cool and helpful too. The location is unbeatable, right in the... More

Cannot recommend highly enough. Everything is clean and comfortable, Marin and Maria made it all easy, everything you could need is in the kitchen, and it's right in the middle of the old town. When you arrive, the front door and the staircase could be a bit off-putting, don't worry about it. Go for it!

Excellent location right next to the Main Street of old town, Zadar. Very clean facilities, the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are very well kept and modern. There is wifi and the use of computer and printer which is extremely convenient. All this at a very affordable rate. Enjoyed my stay

Maria was a great host!! She is very kind, helpful, & always available when we needed her. Our room was very spacious, very clean, & we had a comfortable night's sleep. The location is wonderful. We could be at the sea organ in 2 minutes, there was a night club nearby, & we were right next to the main pedestrian... More

We stayed at Kolega Guesthouse for three nights, paying £24 a night for a private twin room with shared bathroom through Hostel World. The location of the guesthouse is excellent - right next to the main sites of Zadar and there are many bars and restaurants nearby. We arrived quite late so it was difficult to find until we got... I can't even express how pleased we were by our stay. The guesthouse is fueled by the passion of the owner Marin, who loves Croatia and travelling. The location is absolutely superb, in the center of the old town - on the peninsula of Zadar. A 1-2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world (greetings... More

We arrived into Zadar late after quite a difficult drive in the dark and rain from Plitvice NP, so to walk into such a nice and warm welcome was very much appreciated. The owner is friendly and you have free use of everything in the communal space, which includes a full kitchen, a stereo, a computer, a printer! The wifi... More
