We had a slight bit of difficulty as GPS routed us to a residential neighborhood just behind the apartments but that was sorted with a quick call. The apartments are located on a main road so be sure to check your gps. We were greeted upon arrival and shown our apartment. We had booked the basic apartment which was indeed very basic, but had everything necessary including a large bathroom, small kitchenette, a table and chairs as well as tea/coffee. Tony was very helpful throughout the stay and even offered us a lift down to the port one morning. The walk to the old town was roughly 20 minutes, downhill and just a bit longer back as it’s uphill. A taxi/uber is only a few euros if you decide not to walk. There was a Tommy supermarket a few steps away and a couple other shops nearby including LIDL. Restaurants were a bit further but easily reachable. On the last day Tony showed us the other larger apartments available which were really nice. I would recommend an upgraded apartment for a longer stay, but for a few days the basic room was perfect for us. There was a patio area with tables and chairs in the sun which would be nice to enjoy breakfast or an afternoon tea. There was also an outdoor shower which Tony had built himself, impressive! Was an enjoyable stay and would recommend if you are looking to stay near, but outside the old town. …
I booked this villa ahead of our stay as it look really good on the website. In reality that was exactly right but I had not realised it was about 1 mile from Zadar old town and down a busy road. However the accommodation is comfortable, clean and the proprietor is very friendly and I would still recommend this place for a short stay in Zadar. The room has some kitchen facilities which are very useful in the morning for making breakfast and there is also a small patio to sit out and enjoy the sunshine in the morning. In all a good place to stay
Good location with walking distance to the old Town and grocery store. Price is very reasonable including parking. The room is very clean and the villa is located on a quiet street. The room is equipped with everything you need on the road.
We only have one day in zadar and we are super glad that we have chosen to stay here! The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful-thanks a lot! The room is big and very guest-friendly. The owner knows all the details to include in a room! (With nice decorations as well) There is free coffee and tea in a nice small kitchen area with stove, kettle, fridge and cleaning detergents for your usage. There is also shampoo and soap in the bathroom. We can park our car at the free parking space. We want to say a huge thank you to the owner who waited us after normal check-in time. Our ride to Zadar had a bit if hiccup and we were also stuck in the traffic, which delayed our time to arrive at the villa for check-in. Thanks for the owner’s patience and help!!
We were met quite warmly by a cheerful host, had to climb a flight of stairs to enter our nice, clean, small but cozy and modern looking room. Unlike most other washrooms we encountered in our trip, this was good sized, even for the shower stall. The hotel was about a 20 drive to the harbor, parking in the harbor was free on Sundays.
