This hotel could be really nice if they knew how to maintain it. The rooms were smelling humidity. I am sure that it's been years since the last time that they washed the curtains. Smoking is permitted in the hotel! When I come back home all my clothes had a bad smell. It's a pity.

We stayed here for one night and we have an excellent time. Is very good located, antique and with a wonderful view of the Mediterranean and the Citadel. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of options and the price per day also good. The hotel need a restauration but it's ok. We strongly recommend to stay here.

For a Victorian-style staying in Alexandria, visit the Paradise Inn Le metropole. I found a very nice hotel in the center of the city, near to MOC exhibition. The sea view is good in the morning. The only drawback is the traffic sound of claxsons till late night.

We went there with high expectations of the rating of the hotel but we were shocked. To check in we waited for an hour, the staff are not professional at all specially the manager of the hotel we had a leak in the faucet of the sink and they didn't bring anyone to fix it and instead they bought for...

It was my first time and really I admired the people whom are keeping this historical hotel in such shape. It is a great jop by engineering and housekeeping department. I enjoyed my stay. I recommend this for everyone would like to enjoy a royal stay.

Very nice decoration and architecture of the early 20th century. A Piece of royal Egypt with an excellent location in Alexandria. The room was very nice, and breakfast was good. Greek and Italian sobgs are played and a pianist who oerforms classic pieces always shows up at evening. I would definitely stay there once more.

Hotel location is wonderful. The sea views are breathtaking. Staff are genuinely humble but they lack proper training. Hotel's legacy makes you fall in love with it, however the management I guess is not investing properly in neither the property nor the staff. For a four stars hotel, maintenance should be by far better than a mold and broken tile...

The Metropole is located in the middle of everything - about 45 minutes walk from the catacombs, 20 minutes to the train, on tram lines, and nightlife within minutes. The air conditioning works, and you feel safe and secure. That said, the traffic noise is beyond the pale (single pane window glass) and the much-hyped amenities are poorly executed. We...

This hotel built in the early 20th century has great potential but needs renovation, cleaning and maintenance ! The building is supposed to be white concrete but it almost looks gray. It would look much better if it were painted. The bathrooms deserve to be fully renovated. You have to wait a 45 second to one minute to get hot...

Horrible management, they ruined our vacation plans and canceled the reservation I made 12 days before our check-in date. Their reservation system is a failure. Metropole's manager and the reservations manager were very rude, careless and unprofessional. The hotel is in a major decline

Thank Tahrir
