The hotel location is excellent near city center, just a few minuets of walk. Some rooms are very smelly that 2 hours of air-conditioning running does not solve the problem, but when I complained they offered me another room but with the same problem. When I asked to see a room that looks directly at the see, I got a...

I spent two nights there, but actually i didn't like. to be fair enough let's talk about goods and disadvantages: 1) goods: - Close to down town, cinemas, train and Alexandria library about 10 min walking. - Roof view is amazing especially at nights. also there was a nice singer with a professional stuff to sing with different languages. that...

I hate this hotel as it ruined my vacation. I booked 3 double rooms on booking.com and wrote in the comments we need separate beds not king sized one. I also called and asked for 2 of the rooms to be triple (add an extra bed) as this was the only way to have a triple room. Although i called...

The views from the roof-top restaurant are beautiful. The food there is not great. The hotel lobbies are really nice and very English. The rooms themselves need upgrading. It is much too loud to actually sleep, especially if you are there on a weekend or have a room on a lower floor.

This is a real gem of a hotel if you want the old colonial feel. Much better positioned than the famous Cecil hotel-the view from the roof top restaurant is simply stunning.Staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the room was absolutely lovely with a balcony overlooking the Corniche. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and buffet breakfasts extensive....

The thing that I guess everyone will like the most is the old, classic (antique) setup/setting of the hotel; the building was built in 1906 and it still has this royal-like aura! Furniture is pretty classic, the elevator is an experience on it's one.... It's directly located at the Kornish (Sea) and can be considered to be in a central...

This was my second year to come to Alexandria and after the great stay we had last time in the Windsor I didn't have to think twice about coming back. I was mistaken. The check in process was much better this time around and took no time at all. Last time I was here with friends and we got a...

If you are planning for a short vacation you must choose alexandria and if you choose alexandria then choose windsor palace. Its very clean and near downtown so you can go anywhere in alex. In few minutes by car or taxi, breakfast is good. However the only problem is parking the car as the hotel doesn't have a parking lot

We only stayed in Alexandria for one night and chose Windsor Palace as a matter of price point and location. The hotel is very European in style and charming. It is, however, dated and could use a few bucks worth of refurbishment. The floors are worn as well as the furniture although the vintage elevator was very cool. The staff...

The good: * The hotel is in the center of Alex, which makes it very walkable. * Cool elevators * Decent price for location * Clean enough * Free stuff (fruit, pastries, slippers, and toiletries) * Awesome restaurant view / good food (but you can always go as a non-hotel resident). The Bad: * Staff knew NOTHING about Alex. They...
