I just don't understand all the positive reviews for this place - so far the worst place we've stayed in in Myanmar. Summing up: surly reception staff, erratic wifi, room without atmosphere and which cannot really be called spotless (but okay clean if you don't look too closely or are drunk), but, it must be said, a boss ac unit....

We had a good stay at ET until we came to check out. We mentioned that we'd had no hot water in our room. It came to be that the taps were just on the wrong way (red tap was the cold tap) but we hadn't been told this when we checked in. The response we got was horrendously aggresive...

The people at the ET Hotel bend over backwards to be helpful and accommodating. If you have a problem, they will do what they can to help you. I am a seasoned traveler and I can highly recommend this hotel. One of the most beautiful things about Myanmar is the people. The staff at the ET Hotel are a perfect...

Stayed here on several occasions in January...the place has had a nice facelift the last year or 2. Good value rooms (20,000 Kyat, large bed, good hot water in shower...) similar price to nearby Nylon Hotel, etc. The free breakfast is the pretty standard fare, but enough (very cheap) local places nearby for something different to toast and egg. Staff...

Great hotel, staff are wonderfully helpful with info about what to do/see, travel options etc. We stared in one of the roost top room and these are all clean, fresh sheets, happy to walk barefoot around. Bathrooms are clean too and have hot water!! Lovely roof seating area also handy for clothes drying. Breakfast is good too, substantial but only...

This is centrally located hotel. Really clean. English speaking staff who are more than willing to assist you with organising buses and give directions. They went to the station late at night to get our bus tickets for the next day. Free local phone calls to make other reservations. Free breakfast in the morning. Reasonable price for double room, private...

ET Hotel was cheap...... for a reason. Construction was taking place whilst staying there. The hotel's construction was very disruptive. It would start at 6am; right outside the 'window' in our room. There was no ventilation in the room; and the noise was totally disruptive. The water pressure in the shower was good. Wifi was horrible.

I stayed here for two nights in December 2014 after seeing the write up in the Lonely Planet. I paid $12 a night for a room with a shared bathroom. On the night of my arrival they upgraded me to a room with a bathroom as all the ones without were booked, a nice gesture although they insisted I move...

We have checked 4 other hotels before checking in at et hotel. This hotel was the best out of the for. Rooms were clean, hot shower, wifi was relatively ok for myanmar standards. Beds were fine.No windows in any room though which seems to be normal in Myanmar in the bigger cities. Staff was helpful carrying my suitcase up to...

We spent three nights in the rooftop rooms of this hotel (the cheapest), and the bad point of this hotel is the price ...20USD...that's after Yangon the most expensive room we paid and the quality of the room is just ok. The room was huge with one bed at 4 meters from the other :-) and we had one fan...
