After 28 days in Myanmar, i would say this is the worst hotel we stayed at. We had a lot of furniture in our room. The bathroom had seen better days (tiles were looking like they were about to fall off the walls, the shower leaked - although that was not the only hotel where that happened, it looked a...

The hotel is the best and most comfortable stay during my 8-day trip to Myanmar. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. The hotel offered private airport taxi at the price 15000 Kyats per car which was more expensive than what I read of 12000 Kyats from the guide book, so I didn't ask the hotel to...

I would not call this a b&b. It is a tour group style hotel with about 6 floors. The rooms are quite basic, clean enough with a comfortable bed.It was cold one night and when I ordered an extra blanket it arrived promptly and it was clean. The bathrooms are tired as are their towels but clean. They provide tea...

We stayed several nights at the hotel and then drove to Hsipaw and Maymyo, returning for one more night in Mandalay. I'd accidentally left my spare camera battery charging in an out-of-the way plug. To my delight, they'd found it, tagged the room number and returned it to me. Wow! The elevator always worked, bottles of water were provided, the...

Very basic room with poor ensuite bathroom. Towels were grey and thin. Plumbing needed immediate attention. Toiletries supplied were extremely poor quality.Hotel environment was very noisy. Breakfasts were inedible with a very limited buffet. Service was poor and guests were having difficulty finding tables. We were on an organised tour so do not have knowledge of costs per room.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were pleased with this hotel. Though we were nervous about reports of chanting and bell ringing early in the morning, it was a non-issue as it was very very far away. The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooms have TV, AC, 2 bottles of water and a free breakfast buffet which was...

pros: The restaurant is surprisingly good for dinner. In fact it was much better than some of the in town restaurants we tried. Breakfast, however, was disappointing. If you choose the standard room for 35$/night, it is OK value for money for Myanmar, but not great. - there is an elevator - TV with English movies Cons: -I read somewhere...

We stayed for two nights in Queen Hotel in January 2012. Since the hotel was part of a package deal, I do not know how much we paid per night (though overall and from what I understood, hotel prices in general were absurdly high this Christmas season – so I’m guessing this hotel was over-priced as well). Overall impression: Hotel...

We retreated here after the disappointment of Peacock Lodge. The room I had booked turned out to be quite roomy, although over-filled with that heavy wooden furniture you see in the shops. The bathroom wasn't too bad by Burmese standards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was horrible, so we went to a teahouse on the corner...

We had wanted another hotel but couldn’t get it, so our agency found Hotel Queen for us. The staff at the hotel is very helpful but otherwise the hotel is rather basic. It is located downtown and there is quite a lot of noising traffic in the area and we found no restaurants nearby. Our room was a little dreary...
