The rooms was very nice and clean especially the bathrooms. The stuff is super friendly and helpful for trips. The breakfast is good and also the dishes they offer for lunch and dinner. Absolutely recommended.

General: Mandalay was our first stop in Myanmar and the Peacock Lounge was a great way to start it off. We stayed 4 nights, it was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly, spoke good English, and the property was charming. The homemade breakfast was fantastic and the traditional Burmese dinner was delicious. Room: We stayed in room 109 which was... More

Smallish property, but with nice, private, reasonably-spacious rooms, easy to find and close to restaurants, the Palace (maybe half a mile – easy walking distance), and Mandalay Hill (maybe 1-2 miles away; a nice walk for us, but maybe far for anyone not particularly fit; then an easy taxi ride). Clean room, good breakfast. Wifi wasn’t working when we were... More

This is a charming family-run inn conveniently located on the Royal Mandalay neighborhood. The staff was very responsive to our emails and helped us navigate around the busy streets of the city on our first stop in Mandalay. We rented reliable bikes through them for our trip to Mandalay Hill and they organized a great itinerary for us so we... More

We stayed at the hotel in march. The staff and owner most helpful and infomative to us. Rooms clean, spacious & comfortable. We enjoy the great breakfast & delicious foods serve in their green shady courtyard. Walking distances to mandalay fort & hill, we would recommend stay there again.

A small and beautiful lodge with about 09 rooms, Peacock lodge is a perfect option for a peaceful stay in Mandalay. At the lodge, you are under direct care of the owners who live very much in the campus as your next door neigbor. They are caring, well mannered and don't impose much restrictions. The lush green trees, a beautiful... More

We were very fortunate to start our journey in Myanmar from Peacock lodge. Family run place- we enjoyed warm hospitality. It was lovely to meet Aunty Alice who shared lovely stories with the boys. Last day we jointly released dozens of owls, parrots, kites and doves to freedom. It was a lovely feeling and we will remember it for years... More

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Very peaceful courtyard to relax in. We were lucky to have delux room at at discount rate because of low season. Balcony didn't have much of a view. Breakfast was very nice.

A friendly family run hotel. The accommodation is fairly basic, but the owners were very friendly, and helpful in arranging our boat trip to Bagan. Good value, I would recommend it for a trip to Mandalay.
