Everything is over expessive especially hotels here. Mandalay is dusty and most of the place filty.we stay at this hotel after searching and visiting other one.this is charmless but the girls at the reception are kind and try to help with their level of English.WiFi only at lobby with a terrible slow speed, they could provide something better for the...

I preface all hotels in Burma by saying they are dreadful value when compared to the countries around them. The owners I was told are in a cosy arrangement to charge what they like and give little if any service. This hotel is really bad value for money. They just seem to think of a figure and charge it. Why?...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour so don't know how much we paid. Location fine for getting to some nearby places to eat/drink and not far from the market (also near the night market but don't get your hopes up that is a bit of a non-market) . Tiny room with too much furniture to trip...

This place is very centrally located, and has nice and friendly staff. Some people complain about the wifi in the hotel. This is in my opinion nothing to complain about, and show a lack of how the social and political situation has been in Burma for decades. This is not the country you visit if you would like to post on...

We had a decent stay here, although for what you get it's pricey, even by Burmese standards. The rooms are clean and relatively comfortable.  The wifi is horribly slow, so bad you wish they just didn't have it, and it only works in the lobby. It has a good location close to the market and some good beer stations down the...

Stay here as part of G Adventure Tour of Myanmar. A good city centre locations. Cycle shop round the corner should you need to pick up cycle to explore the city. 5 minutes walk to find bars and restaurants. Good breakfast offered by hotel and good wifi connection. Rooms basic but acceptable for short stay and safety deposits boxes available...

If you're looking for something a little nicer than the standard guesthouses but you're also not wanting to pay loads for a really nice hotel we found this to be a really nice in-between option. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and you know you're never going to have to worry about it being damp or the linen not being...

hotel is well situated downtown close to some restaurant/bar/bike rental options. rooms are fairly comfortable, bathroom clean and good hot shower. Breakfast reasonably varied. very friendly staff at reception and breakfast room. I especially appreciated the assistance with booking flights - two travel agents told me all flights were fully booked but the hotelstaff managed to get me two seats!

Ok, this is not Hilton but after traveling in Myanmar I realized that you need to adjust your expectations. Hotels in Myanmar are way overpriced for what they are and with Myanmar being overrun by tourists willing to pay any price to secure a place to crush over night you can't be choosy and they have little incentive to improve....
