Villa Champa has such a lovely ambiance. You feel right at home here. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the decor is very Lao. I had a ground floor room and was glad that I did. The monks walked right past my room every morning and I could watch them without intruding. This is a very special ceremony...

My husband and I switched Luang Prabang Guesthouses after three nights due to availability, and moved from Phone Praseuth (wonderful!) to Villa Champa. It looked great from the street, the location could really not be better, staff was helpful, the price was fine, and we ended up totally delighted with our two-night stay. Our room was SO clean, our balcony...

Went here once with work. Decided to come again with family. If you are looking for nice and clean room in centre of LPB with a very reasonable price, then look no further. You'll be walking distance from many of the places worth seeing within city limits. We paid around 25 USD for double room per night, which was definitely...

Stayed three times at this guesthouse, both on business and on holiday. It is simple but very cozy and in a good location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prefer the rooms-which by the way are big- on the upper floor. It is good value for money.

We planned to stay for 3 nights but moved after the first night as the king size bed was like sleeping on concrete and the unyielding pillow not much better. My wife and i both had sore backs and necks. This was Unfortunate, as the location is excellent, staff are friendly, room 107 was a reasonable size albeit with a...

I moved from a different place within LP and really liked the place, i.e. my room which is the big one overlooking the crossing with a majestic balcony and lots of space...in low season it was affordable and I liked the location also...LP is really cute and I stayed longer than planned...

We booked for 5 nights from 30th may to 4th June 2013 because of apparently good reviews. Whilst the room was clean, for the price it was way below par and we walked out after our second night. The mattress was like a slab of granite, pillows (1 each) we nicknamed rocky 1 and rocky 2. There was a kettle,...

We stayed here for 2 nights after our original guest house (Lao Wooden Villa) was full. Great location in the old town - walking distance to the river. Room was nice and bright, great shower. No breakfast included which was a bit of a shame, but plenty of places around.

We stayed for one night after the place we had stayed for the previous few nights (Villa Chitdara) was full. Villa Champa was pleasant, the rooms clean and quiet. Breakfast across the road was tasty but not mind blowing. If you want to see the Alms Ceremony at 6:30 each morning, then this is a great place to stay as...

Very cute guesthouse in a great location. Ome minute to the river, bananas water and coffee for free. Quiet neighborhood and very friendly staff. Room are small but really nice. Bathroom was clean. We paid for a double room with private toilet 20 USD. Highly recommend it.
