Firstly I must say that this hotel is a little misleading. Maybe I did not look carefully at photos but I thought that we would have a terrace from our room overlooking river. But the terrace is actually attached to the restaurant across the road. We didn't have a river as such but the room was very nice. The hotel...

We had love stay at the Belle Rive. We booked a room as beauiful suite, all facilities were perfect and well arranged. The staff were all so friendly ad the breakfast was delicous with a large selection. It was a good location. The place located in peaceful area but still in heart of Luang Prabang old town as well. It...

I chose this hotel based on other travelers reviews, and I was not disappointed. I stayed for 3 nights. Warm welcome, friendly staff, amazing breakfast with freshly baked french baguettes, eggs, jam, fresh fruit, coffee.. anything you wanted. It was really nice to sit on the sidewalk or on the terrace (when it wasn't raining) overlooking the Mekong river, one...

BelleRive was the perfect icing to a lovely holiday. Great location. Lovely staff - Vone, David and everybody else. Loved just lazing on the terrace restaurant. The have-all-you-want anytime of the day breakfast was fantastic. The manager Damien was really helpful. Had some lovely chats with him. The hotel is a little expensive for the budget traveller but perfect for...

This is a quaint hotel, partially new building, but with old colonial feel. Their new terrace on the river has a wonderful view and vibe for cocktails and breakfast. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful with great referrals on where to eat and go. Would have stayed longer than the 3 days i did if I was able...

Belle Rive was recommended to us by friends who visited Luan Prabang and regretted that they did not stay there. The suites were charming and so comfortable. We started each day with a Lao coffee on the sidewalk cafe talking to the staff. Moving across the street, the hotel restaurant is on a terrace overlooking the Mekong River and serves...

We arrived via a Mekong River cruise and The Belle Rive was only a few metres walk up the road. A lovely French colonial style building on the corner overlooking the Mekong. Perfection. Delightful in every way, and surprises too. Facilities would have been a full five too, if there were a pool of some kind, but the property is three old villas turned into 5 suites and 8 rooms, so there's no place for one. The rooms are romantic and spacious and quite beautiful in a wonderful Asian/colonial way. Everything is...
