I had inadvertently booked on Chinese New Year I arrived mid afternoon to find my booked double room had been given away. The only alternative I was offered was a bunk in a mixed dorm As a 60 year old female this was unacceptable, plus I was suffering with a chest infection which I didn't want to be passing around....

if you are happy with place with clean beds, hot showers and good toilets then this place ticks the criteria. this is cheap no frills and avoids the exploding accomodation prices in LP. the breakfast thrown in is a solid fix.

The inn has several types of accomodation such as motel room and dormitary. And my opinion, it's better idea if you go for dorm bed for this inn. With $5 I paid for a night, it's goood value for a bed and a breakfast with egg. The inn's clean and neat itself. Toilet's also clean and suficient with toilet paper....

I would never go to this hotel again. Owner asked me check out when I was coming back from Buddha Cave, apparently they had already booked my room for someone else even though I hadn't checked out. I offered to pay to stay another night but the owner declined. I was given 10mins to pack everything and leave. I ended...

We stayed here for 4 night and not once was the room cleaned. Asked for extra toilet paper and told no. Ended up buying my own. And every morning at 630 they were pulling furniture across the room above us. There was no hot water and one morning my friend get in the shower after me and there was no...

We stayed one night in the dorm. It was as expected a 14 bed dorm. The beds were clean. The showers were amazing and the toilets were well kept. We had a free breakfast which was also very nice. Good price.

Ok place, nothing cosy about it, just a place to sleep in. The staff tried their best. Big rooms. Not so good location, on the side of the city and in middle of construction work. Not good breakfast. For the 17 €/night (private room) we would unfortunately not recommend this place, for the same price you get much more in...

We paid for two beds in a dorm. The AC wasn't working and the staff didn't do anything about it (actually, they just laughed and left); there were only two bathrooms/toilets, which didn't have any toilet paper most of the day; the beds were rock solid (personally, I don't mind, but...) Again, it is a cheap hostel, I have no...

I loved this hotel since it was cheap. There is nothing I expect more than a bed to sleep and a fan for a room that cost less then 4 USD a night. The staffs are kind and breakfast was ok. It is located close to the night market and an bike rental shop.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are an Internationally staffed hostel located on the main street in Luang Prabang, only a 5 minute walk from the night market and 15 minutes from Utopia, the airport and bus stations. We have completely refurbished Dorm rooms as of September 2014. These dorms range from 6 bed female en-suite, 10 bed, 14 bed and 16 bed(has a balcony). All beds come with a locker, a power point and reading light and come standard with air condition and WiFi. All guests get a delicious free breakfast. We have a range of private rooms, twin, double, triple. All come with mini-fridge, A/C, Mosquito net, TV with Cable channels, toilet and shower with hot water. We have just opened up a brand new movie room(with A/C) featuring up to date movies and TV shows, the perfect way to relax after the party atmosphere of Vang Vieng and Thailand. We do daily, affordable tours to Kuang Si Waterfall and our knowledgeable staff can help you plan the rest of your trip around Laos and Asia. We also supply bus tickets and tours, laundry service, towel rental, guest computer and printer(free to use) etc. We have a puppy named 'Lana', who can get a little hyper, but if you're a dog person, you will love her friendly, playful nature. Please keep this in mind when booking if you have a fear of dogs, as Lana is always around the reception area and 'playful' is just a code word that she will jump up on you. She is very friendly and has never bit anybody, she will however enjoy chewing on your bracelets. We have 24 hour reception so you don't need to worry about security, or been locked out at night. If your feeling artistic, we would love you to leave your mark on the hostel and we can supply paints and other benefits for anybody willing to put in a little bit of time and effort. ... more   less
