This is a nice boutique hotel but quite poorly kept and maintained. There were dust and cobwebs in the room and the toilet. For the price of USD30 per night for a single room, one would expect a cleaner room. Maybe this is the low season. There were only two other guests during my stay.

A super beautiful, clean and spacious place! Paul made us feel at home straight away:) He was also kind enough to give us a ride to the bus station after we checked out the next day, and also helped us to booked the ticket on the previous day. All the staff smile when we bumped into each other on the...

I booked two nights here based mainly on the great TA reviews. I was disappointed. To start with, the location leaves a lot to be desired. It is out on the outskirts of Luang Prabang, and not convenient to the delightful old colonial part of the town or the restaurants and shops. They do have a little bus service to...

The rooms at Vagsavath hotel were fantastic (especially after the hovel of a hostel we stayed in in Vientiane...) - nice big double bed, air con, en suite and veranda overlooking the hotel garden. The best part about this place is definitely the people who work there, though. As soon as we arrived, one member of staff showed us a...

Wow, this hotel is more like a palace. Just GORGEOUS. A massive property with a beautiful garden terrace to eat on for breakfast. Stunning, deep wood all over makes the entire place just lovely to stay in. The staff is SO amazing and really helpful. They were endlessly cheerful and willing to help us make our stay the best possible!...

After 25 days of bouncing around Thailand we decided to cap off our month with a week in Laos. Getting a flight was the only potential barrier but we scored one the night before heading out. Cruising over the Laotian countryside in the evening sun was something I will never forget. By the time we landed and sorted out our...

We were lured in by the free bikes and wanted to avoid the backpacker hostel feel, and were welcomed by Paul, the owner's son, who spoke amazing english and gave us an introduction on what there is to do in Luang Prabang- a quick yet informative travel agency all in one ;) Never ever had such good customer service- always...
