My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights in February. We found that that this hotel was ideally situated for what we wanted to do, i.e. just far enough away from the centre where there is some traffic, and located in a quiet back street area, but still close enough to anything (local sights) and everything (small restaurants/cafes) to...

Not much to say here - only that this is a great place to stay (close to everything) - great value for money - clean (good housekeeping) - lovely management & yummy breakfast (especially the 'fried-rice' option). Happy to stay here again if going back to LP. (Stayed for 4 nights end of Jan) Thanks guys :)

The hotel's location is a bit farther than the main spot of the night market, you would have to walk 10 -15 minutes extra to reach the centre of the night market. But it turned out to be a bliss because it was not noisy when we tried to sleep in our room. If you are sharing a room, their...

An excellent location, you can walk to the river and many restaurants are located near there. Each room is named after a Chinese zodiac sign. Everything in the room works, our room had a lot of wonderful hard wood and it looks excellent. The tub and shower are right in the room with no curtains , but it was okay. They...

In a 'local' neighborhood, nice rooms, clean, well appointed, although a bit dark, very simple breakfast. Nice enough staff (but overall, tourism industry employees in Laos were worth a scientific study).

This hotel was our base for three weeks in Luang Prabang. Every time we came back from a few days up in the hills or visiting the elephant conservation centre, it was like coming home. It wasn't perfect but it suited us very well. We had a spacious room with a bath in it. The bed was probably the most...

It is difficult to comment fairly on this small guest house. When I arrived the temperature was only 8 degrees. I had a 4 night stay. The first 3 nights were very cold in the room. It is a wooden building with no heating despite having a second duvet I was still cold. I am in the snake room which...

Like the rest of Luang Prabang, this is a charming old-ish style building. The rooms are a decent size and fitted out with nice furnishings. My room was quite dark due to the fixed wooden blind design of the outer doors, but that was at least good for sleep-ins. The deep bath is a nice touch - however, the hot...

- This hotel has an excellent location, really close to the center. - The staff is friendly. - The rooms are rather good, big, clean (I had 2 different rooms. 1 was nice, the other was OK. - Free Wifi But... - It's the noisiest hotel I have ever seen. Monks at the nextdoor temple start hitting their drums and...

This hotel was a real find! We were allocated the "Snake Room" - which is not nearly as treacherous as it sounds. Each room is named after an animal in the Chinese horoscope. Our room had a lovely return balcony and a very beautiful stone bath. The good quality toiletries that were supplied meant I could enjoy a one hour...
