Very good location and excellent 'out of season' rate, real VFMoney. Reception staff very friendly, speak some English. Laundry service and Wi-fi. Great room and bathroom, with huge hard comfortable bed. Only negative, thin walls.

I felt compelled to comment seeing as we stayed in three different rooms in our four nights here. We originally booked through Agoda via Trip Advisor for a double bed for $20 (plus fees which came out to $23.75/night). We were showed to our large room with nice wooden furnishings and a view of the temple only to be immediately...

The best thing about the place is the location as it is right in the old town. The bed is really huge. Bathroom was okay. Stayed 1 night on the 2nd floor and the another night on the ground floor. Just walked in, no booking in advance. They might have forgotten to provide soap when I stayed the second time....

A nice friendly run guesthouse the rooms are a good size. the bed comfortable and a decent shower. The price is fair for the quality the housekeeping is good and they offer a laundry service in house. The location is ideal for getting around the town, you are minutes walk from many bars, restaurants and the night market.

This guest room was a good find. I stayed in a downstairs room with no view or balcony but this made it cheaper than the upstairs room. Guesthouse is in a perfect location, off the main road so quiet but only a few minutes walk to reach restaurants and the sights. Only negative is that the walls are very think...

Stayed there for 2 nights. Booked it directly via Agoda.com for $20 per night. Pretty expensive to me especially when you consider the condition of the place. Pros: 1. Very convenient location. It is right next to the Royal Palace Museum and is in between the fun Sisavavong Road and the Mekong River, and very close to Phou Si hill...

This is as good as a guesthouse gets!! The rooms are nice, and very clean, the shower is great, there's both pressure and hot water (which, by my experience, is rarely the case). The staff is friendly. And the location couldn't have been better, 50 meters from the main road, and the night market just around the corner.. It's very...

Rim Vang Guesthouse (also known as Rimwang Guesthouse; there's another Tripadvisor review page using that name) is a small family-run guesthouse in the historic district of Luang Prabang. It's located on Ounheun Road, just off of Sisavangvong Road, which is a perfect central location. The Royal Palace is across the street, shops and restaurants are on Sisavangvong Road, and the...

I was booked into the better-known Manichan Guesthouse but was informed on arrival that I’d be staying at Rimvang instead due to the owner of Manichan deliberately overbooking his hotel to make way for a larger group of guests. Quite unprofessional- but I’m sure many of the usual ‘top listed’ guesthouses can get complacent about customer service. Luckily, I haven’t...
