Stayed five nights here in early December. The guesthouse is not very fancy, but the rooms are clean, and pretty large. The location is very good, with a short walk to the river, and the town center, but the street it's on is nice and quiet. Staff was very helpful, and they also invited us for a free breakfast on...

My boyfriend and I booked 2 nights here and for the price (£22) a night compared to other places we had stayed in we were not impressed. Location is good, located within walking distance to the night market and restaurants etc. The owner and his family are very friendly. Breakfast wasn't included so we can't comment on that. Room was...

I booked 3 nights there and after payment the owner """realized""" that the Hotel was full (overbooked) and tried to put me in another hotel just across the street! Preposterous offer!! This other hotel was just really really terrible and cheaper than the one I payed for! After 15minutes of discussion, instead of giving me my money back, he showed...

Title says everything. Fair price, friendly staff. I didn't have Kip so they accepted the baht from Thailand in a fair exchange, which saved me a lot of time. Nearby night market and restaurants, good location.

Stayed at guesthouse 1 for 3 nights. The rooms were great and cleaned daily. The family that runs the place are extremely kind and accommodating. The location is just around the corner from lots of great spots.

We stayed in this guesthouse for three nights. Location is great, just two minutes from the Night market. Double room with bathroom 100000 kip in April 2016. Towels changed and bed made daily. The guesthouse is run by a very nice family. At breakfast free bananas and coffee are provided. Perfect please to stay :)

Stayed here 5 nights exploring the city and sites. Great Homestay! Nice rooms with AC and washroom. Very clean rooms, sitting area with free tea, coffee and bananas. Able to rent motor cycles and transfer vans. Great little location near most sites including night market, royal place and temples! Highly recommend this Homestay.

The manager and his family were very friendly and helpful. Be aware that there is a cell tower not far away and it affects the entire neighborhood, so if you are sensitive to EMF pollution, stay on the other side of the Grand Palace.

As you will see from the map attached, LP is like a Peninsula circled by water. The closer you get to the "tip" of the land, the more luxurious it gets. The high end GHouses and hotels have views on the rivers. The true blue backpackers are rather "mid town" The Hoxieng 2 GH is "in between" : a mid...
