The guesthouse is a bit far away (10 min walk) from the center, therefore it's cheaper! The woman, who seems to be the owner, is not a honest person. We rented a motorbike there and we were told to put 20.000 Kip gas for a day trip to the Kuang Si waterfalls and it was definitely too much gasoline! When...

Very nice guesthouse in the corner of Luang Prabang. WiFi works, the staff is very kind and helpful. In the morning free bananas for breakfast and a small kitchen where you can order a hearty breakfast. Near the main attractions of the city.

We paid only 9 pound a night at this hotel. Originally the first room we stayed in did have a bad musty smell. The bathroom was a bit dirty but nothing major. The rest of the room was clean and the bed was quite big and comfortable. There however was no sun light and so kind of felt like a...

I booked this room on Agoda in early January.I checked in, went to my room and for some reason read the TA reviews for the first time since I booked it.Imagine my horror when I saw the 2 most recent views,"what the hell have I booked in to" ? I asked myself. However, luckily,my fears were not to be realised.I stayed in...

We stayed 2 nights in this guesthouse because it was 'cheap'. The first night the toilet didn't work and trying to flush the toilet we accidentally broke the top that was loose. We found hair and nails and figured to still pay the toilet top when checking stay one night because we were to tired. The next morning the cleaning...

60K for a twin room with a fan. One of the smallest rooms we've stayed in while in Asia, but the hot shower and semi-comfortable beds were appreciated. The woman at the front desk speaks little to no English, and can't keep much organized - she often quotes different prices at different times and we saw her repeatedly tell other...

We went to this guesthouse because they offered us a good price (40 000k for a double ) at the peer. It took us a while to get there for the tuktuk driver dropped us off anywhere. After arriving they told us a more expensive price but we told them about the 40 and they were ok with it so...

We were offered a really good rate from a staff member at the pier (coming on a slow boat from Thailand). We had two double rooms on ground floor for four of us at 50,000 kip each, 25,000 kip per person. Probably because it's low season. Rooms are basic, with a fan and they were ensuites. Food is ok. Overall...
