We stayed at this vibrant affordable hotel to visit grandchildren we had not seen in 4 years due to covid. We were made so welcome it was home from home. Our grandchildren could visit swim eat with us just as if we were at home. The staff were brilliant the hotel clean the food very good .. and a stones throw to the Mall of the Emirates. 1. I sent a request message to the management, but they ignored the answer, and I sent a follow-up of the message and they also ignored it..worst management ever. 2.What is written on the Booking.com is not what is in reality, for example, the iron is not present in the room, and you have to request it from the management and you have to return it on the same day, while the rest of Dubai hotels are iron among the basic appliances things in all rooms. 3. The bathrooms are very, very dirty, and their design is so stupid that there is no slope in the shower floor, and there are no barriers between the shower floor and the bathroom floor (shower floor and bathroom floor same level), so the washing water runs down all the bathroom floors... Very dirty place 4. The ventilation holes in the bathroom were broken and the pipes fell frustratingly. ((i have photos-proofs for everything mentioned above and will uploaded on thier page)). NOT RECOMMANDED AT ALL…

I stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks while workong here and it was such a pleasure. The amenities are great and the room are spacious and very clean given the budget friendly price. Citymax hotel Al Barsha is far beyond just having an excellent location, or being a walking distance from MOE or the reach to many dinning places or fantastic evening street walk in Barsha area. The people there have genuine happiness within that radiates to you and the surroundings. Smiles meet and great you wherever you go inside the hotel 24/7. When we moved into this hotel on the 9th of June, the staff were very welcoming and polite. Our room was cleaned every single day and new bottles of water, tea and coffee were put into our room, as well as that, our room was spacious, had a tv, a mini fridge and free wifi. The breakfast was okay, would rate it solid 3/5 and it was different throughout the week. The hotel is located 2 minutes of walking distance from the Mall of Emirates and has a bus stop right next to it, as well as that, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the Kite beach every morning, but it needs to be booked in advance. Now the negatives, although, it’s just 3 but they’re quite big. When we moved into the room, we noticed on the bathroom floor there were fleas, that were jumping around the bathroom which was very disgusting. Another negative, on Tuesday (14/06/2022), when we left the room in the morning for it to be cleaned, when we came back we noticed a black piece of plastic on the bathroom table and then realised it came off from the broken plastic soap holder, which broke in the result of replacing a new soap bottle by the cleaner. And the next thing that happened, on the day we moved out, which was on the 16th of June. As we left our room cards in the reception and sat in the waiting room, the reception lady shortly approached us and asked us to pay 50 dirhams for the same broken plastic soap holder which we never broke, meaning that the cleaner not only broke it but also reported it to reception blaming it on us 🙂 well done cleaner !
