We stayed at the Anantara on the Palm in June. The last time we stayed was March 2020 just as the world went into lockdown. It was our eighth visit to this hotel.Given the shortages of hospitality staff across the board we found the service to be first class. From arrival at reception we were greeted with a ‘welcome back’,shown to our room which was spacious and well equipped.Cleanliness was high on the agenda. The restaurants were as good as ever with extensive menus to choose from. We prefer to sit on the beach during the day and at this point we wish to extend a special thank you to Chanaka and the Mai team for the wonderful service we received.Nothing is too much trouble for Chanaka. He along with the team go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable relaxing day. They work incredibly hard in extreme temperatures as we would not normally book for June but needed a well earned break. The Anantara ticks all the boxes for us so much so that we have already booked our next 2 visits in the Autumn and next Spring…
This was our first holiday to Dubai and cannot fault staying at the Anantara - everything was just amazing, we didn’t want to stay in a big high rise hotel and was really overwhelmed by all the choices of places to stay but we are SO happy we chose the Thai inspired chilled out Anantara. We stayed in a pool Access room which took our breath away when we walked in - so spacious for our family and the biggest bathroom possible ! All the items you need in the room- hairdryer, charging points, coffee machine, kettle, food choice of tea and coffee plus mini bar drinks and snacks. Room service is 24/7 and we used this a couple of times for lunch for our young son - food was amazing and delivered super quick. Bathroom had all the stuff you need- lovely Elemis products including shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel in the walk in Shower. There was the biggest bath too but ran out of time to use it! It also had Gorgeous dressing gowns, flip flops and slippers. Lots of hanging space and drawers for Clothes with lovely big mirror and of course a safe for all your personal items. Our outside area was amazing, 2 sun loungers and towels Ready each morning ! We had the sun all day but could also move them into the shade if needed. When it gets too hot you can go back into the lovely cool air con room for water (unlimited bottles included) The pool is just amazing - we stayed in all day most days as we didn’t need to go anywhere else really - we were really wanting a relaxing holiday ! There is a seat/ ledge outside each room so you can sit in the water to keep cool and none of the pool Is really deep so perfect for swimming and playing. There is a small long tail boat that goes round each day offering drinks - I had an amazing fresh coconut with rum 🍹 You can buy inflatables there and there is often some To Borrow! The main pool is awesome too we did spend some time there and the Mai swim up bar is perfect ! It has the most beautiful view for sunset. There is so much choice for food and we tried everywhere - all amazing and great service. Highlights were the awesome Buffett breakfast at Cresendo - the choice is unreal and the quality just superb - such lovely customer Service and smiles from everyone there. My son ate pancakes with fresh strawberries every morning ! ( plus Nutella!) Another highlight is the Beach House- what can I say 🙌🏼 Pure holiday vibes here - right on the beach, amazing views, amazing sunsets, amazing cocktails, amazing food and what topped it off was a Thai Fire 🔥 show on the beach each night - they were soooo good ! We also had 2 evenings at Bushman’s - such a cool Place with awesome steaks 🥩 and the lovely Aussie manager Jack was super friendly. The choice of kids food in each restaurant was so Good and so much choice - there is even a kids section on the buffet in the evening. My husband had a Thai massage at the Spa and he said it was an good as being back in Thailand 🇹🇭 The general culture of the staff was just so genuine and attentive. They cannot do enough for you. We had the same lovely man clean our room each day who was so attentive and made sure the times he came We’re good. We could also use the app to organise table bookings and anything else we needed- it was super easy to use and you can get service at your sun loungers on the beach/ pool ! On our final night we were given a lovely gift, our Son’s name, painted in watercolour - so thoughtful. Amazing resort 😊 and we will definitely be back 🙌🏼…

Anantara The Palm Hotel is a great hotel and the service of the staff is five stars, especially the employee Zarifa, it was a wonderful stay All family happy and good breakfast and room nice everything nice and swimming pool perfect thanks for hotel
I had such a wonderful time. The hotel was super amazing. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I truly enjoyed myself. I want to extend a heart thank you to Ms. Eve, Ms. Portia, Mr. Godlif, Ms. Marwa and all the Bushman Staff and Mekong Team and Revo and Crescendo Team. Thank you so much for your awesome hospitality.
My fiance proposed to me at Anantara dining by design. The set up and hotel was so pretty and the staff were brilliant. But nothing else worth mentioning. - It is definitely over priced for a 3 course dinner and set up. Food quality was nothing great or extraordinary. - Paying so much atleast the hotel would have provided a better cooling system on the beach or informed us in advance knowing the weather in Dubai. - Food was mediocre the seafood was over cooked bland and tasteless.. it was so hot and humid ended up not eating anything. My fiance was drenched in sweat. We asked them if we can sit inside but they refused it was so hot we didn't even complete our main or desert. I love my fiance and happy he planned this . But it was an absolute disappointment a waste of time and money. The 2 stars was for the staff. Regards, A disappointed woman…
Our fourth visit and the standards have remained high .Our room was on the ground floor facing the lagoon with a Patio and entrance to the water. We were on half board and the eating facilities excellent. Breakfast and evening dinner in the Cascade was full of choices and well led by Sunita. She was so helpful and exemplified all the staff with her helpful advice .The other restaurants Bushman's, The Beach House and Mekong were all superb. We need to mention Nevile and Hose Recreation who were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Found eating and drinking at the Mai Bar at lunchtime extremely enjoyable and all the staff including William again very friendly. We were also helped by Ariel and Kevin from the Consierge section on a number of issues Our room attendant Sai kept our room spotless. Such friendly and helpful staff during our whole 10 daysi…

Kudos everyone! 👍🏻 Very recommended this place 🥂 Cheers
We stayed at the Anantara for 5 nights in the Lagoon Access Room. The access facility bumps my review to 4/5 as the facility and ease of accessing the pool is the 'star of the show', although this is costly at almost £350 per room, per night. With regards to the soft product - Guest Relations made my kid feel really welcome - with a soft toy and toys waiting for her in the room - the staff at kids club were absolutely amazing too ! Although, I feel that for adults, they don't really do anything special on a day-to-day basis. I stayed at the Anantara in Portugal where they served/delivered free juices, or JBH give you free water/ice-lolly in the beach. They need to look at how to add the special touches to rooms - especially the high rate lagoon access/villa rooms. The hard product simply feels old and dated - some refurbishment was noticeable in other villas but I am not sure to what extent!? Overall, I had a wonderful stay thanks to the lagoon access room! I would visit again solely on that basis, but I feel that the property and staff need to take action and take steps to make customers (especially those within the resort) holiday feel special !…
Slightly less special than the first visit, I’m hoping this is not a reflection that the resort is going downhill. Felt like rooms could do with updating and a bit of extra attention. Seemed to be quite a few new members of staff especially at breakfast who often gave wrong coffee/tea orders.
