This hotel, whilst nice, is not in the 5 start league. The service was polite, albeit slow. We had to keep asking for things, and were not really offered much in the way of information. The balcony was tiny and overlooked a building site next...More

The hotel is terrible! First of all, we arrived early in the morning (our flight came from Perth/Australia arrived at 05:00am at Dubai). When we got in the lobby, we asked for an early check-in and the rude guy (unfortunately, forgot his name) told us...More

It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next
to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
It's Ramadan next week so there are some great deals out there. If I had the choice I would cancel and find a better placed and staffed hotel, shouldn't be hardly any more money! The UAE is all about service yet... More

As far as I remember the WiFi was free of charge in our room, in the lobby and restaurant. Make sure you let the reception know if the connectivity is slow they will send in a technician to look after the router in your room. The routers are not accessible to the guests. The one in the room we stayed in was in a locked box behind a mirror in the bedroom. Hope this helps.
