The hotel looked nice and reasonable in price on internet, but in reality looked more like a dump. We arrived at 21.00 hrs and had to wait an hour for them to clean the room. The bathroom was just cleaned but that hadn't helped much, it still looked awful. The hotel is very noisy, with children in the corridors at...

Hell no this hotel was absolutely appalling ! We were ripped off by 1000 dirhams ! The wifi was very slow which was annoying ! The service was also very slow they did not accomplish what we required and so left out drinks claiming they have run out which was very malicious of them They even ripped us off many...

Other than taking us forever to find, this place was a gem for what we paid. Got a 4 bed room to accommodate visiting friends, and while nothing was new or shiny, things were clean and we had plenty of space. When we checked in, we only had one towel. We called down and a minute later we had 5...

Stayed here with some friends. As college students, it was fine for us. The beds were hard, but we would be so tired from exploring that we never had a problem falling asleep. The bathroom was not squeaky clean, but we wore shower shoes and it was fine. The breakfast includes eggs and coffee, but it takes a while for...

Al Uruba is in a good location in Dubai - in the middle of the Gold Souk in the Deira section. Only about two blocks from the Al Ras metro station. Walking distance to the Creek. What I liked about the hotel: Free wifi, free breakfast, restaurant on-site, mini fridge in room, congenial manager who strives to make things right...

Extreamly poor service and poor ambiance. Better spend few more money and go arround for other hotels. No time management and no value for money. We just ran away after seeing the hotel ambiance and untidyness. We simply instructed to shift our hotel to some other hotel and were ran away from complimentary breakfast inspite we paid for it. The...

Very decent basic budget hotel - nothing fancy - tiled floors, foam mattresses, ugly aesthetic. Accessible on foot through the Gold Souk - just ask store owners or police for the hotel: a few minutes walk from the bus station outside the Gold Souk. Rooms have internet, TV, AC and fridge. Cost of a taxi from airport to Gold Souk...
