This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

Guests have called out Rove Expo City for its cleanliness, emphasizing the spotless rooms and eco-friendly practices, despite minor suggestions for improvement. The hotel's atmosphere is frequently described as vibrant and inviting, with a modern touch. Its amenities receive universal acclaim, particularly for the transportation options and family-friendly features. While the service is generally celebrated for its efficiency and warmth, there have been occasional mentions of less-than-cheerful staff. The hotel's location is ideal for those attending events at the Expo, though some may find it inconvenient for tourism. Room comfort is well-regarded, although noise and AC issues have been noted. Overall, the hotel is seen as offering excellent value for money.

My experience at Rove Expo City was fantastic in every way!
The hotel has a strategic location that''s perfect, especially if you''re planning to visit Expo City or the surrounding areas. The rooms are very clean and designed in a modern way that combines comfort and simplicity.

The staff is very friendly, always there to cater to any request with a smile, making the stay even more smooth. The amenities from the quick check-in to daily cleanliness were of a high standard of professionalism.

As for the food, the experience was excellent too. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes, and the quality is evident in every meal we have.

I especially loved the hotel''s quiet atmosphere, along with facilities like the fitness center, making the stay not only comfortable but so enjoyable.

I highly recommend staying here, especially for those seeking a hassle-free experience in a modern, clean location and outstanding service. Would definitely be back on my next visit!

I was in Dubai for a short trip from September 5th, 2023 to September 7th, 2023. I already knew the hotel from the outside from my last Expo visit in 2021.
From Dubai Airport, the journey time on the Metro Redline without changing trains is around 75 minutes and costs a full 15 AED per way in Gold Class. The stop is the very modern terminus Expo 2020.
The hotel is almost at the station, namely Expo Plaza. You are in the hotel lobby in no time.
The first thing I noticed was the great smell and the absolute cleanliness in the lobby and throughout the building.
Young, friendly employees everywhere. Everyone addresses you by their first name, which underlines the young, dynamic touch of the Rove.
Quick check-in, then straight to my room 724. My request for a high level room and away from the elevator was fully fulfilled.
The room offers everything you need as a traveler, including a coffee and tea station.
The obligatory water is filtered and sealed in refillable glass bottles. Great, sustainable idea.

Every room has a small balcony in a kind of "cage" with a chair and table.

The bathroom is unfortunately the only drawback of the hotel, or more precisely the bathroom door! I don't know who installed it there, but it doesn't work like that. If you open the door, you can only get to the toilet as a small child. But if you're an adult man (with a belly 😉) and you try to get to the toilet through the gap, you'll be desperate after the second time at the latest, and losing weight won't help much. The door has to go!

Otherwise, I'm very satisfied. There's also a nice little infinity pool with a children's pool on level 12.

I ate twice in the hotel's own Daily Restaurant a la carte. Everything was top notch at good, reasonable prices.

The breakfast buffet offers everything your heart desires, including eggs of your choice, which can be ordered from the staff. Nice coffee station with a fresh brewer from La Cimbali. That alone is worth a lot!

And all of that for a current price of 69 AED.

All in all, the house completely convinced me and I will definitely come back!

We stayed 2N3D with our toddler. Our room was clean, amenities are availble upon request and the hotel in general smells so good. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby as there are a lot of seats available. I just wish there will be a soft play area for toddlers aside from the gaming room. Reception staff are energetic and warm (Nereza, Chris and Aber). Everyone the you bumped into greets you with a smile. It’s so smart of the hotel to keep an ice dispenser per floor, it saves us from requesting from HK. Breakfast has a fair option but enough to fill you in, the food was tasty. Free valet is also an added bonus. Above all, I appreciate Rove for letting the food delivery riders and their outdoor staff to stay inside with AC and cold drinks. I hope all the hotels will do the same as well. Will surely recommend.

Pros:
Reception ladies when we checked in were very pleasant, polite and nice. (Abeer and the Filipina next to her).
Our rooms were ready before check-in time.
Free unlimited drinking water
Free unlimited coffee in the room
Beds are comfy
Spacious Room
Modern Clean property
Good amenities (foosball & & table tennis table)
Swimming Pool

Cons:
The AC in our connecting room stopped working at midnight until following day. We called for support but no one came to check.

We were not able to sleep due to a truck's reversing noise. There was this truck that was reversing and created noise from midnight till 430am .We called around 1.30 AM as we could not stand it anymore and was told that this is EXPO's noise and the hotel cannot do anything about it. It lasted until 4.30am! The person at reception asked if we wanted to be moved to a different room, we advised him how can we move when we have a child soundly sleeping and if we move in the wee hours of the night her sleep will be disturbed and we will end up with a cranky child. We should have been advised that facing that side of the hotel would be unpleasant due to expo's noise! Our rooms were 413 & 415. This really ruined our experience as we ended up not sleeping at all.

There were mosquitos outside the lounge area (outdoor part).

Was here for a conference at the Dubai Exhibition Center. The location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the exhibition center and the Expo 2020 metro station. The room was nice and everything worked well, though the bathroom could be a bit bigger.

The staff were always friendly and helpful and the lobby was nice. The music was not too loud and there were people mingling and working left and right.

The breakfast was also good. I would just recommend using freshly-squeezed juice for the juices at breakfast.

I would stay here again if I had a conference again at DEC.

This is the second hotel of this chain where we are staying in Dubai. There are also a lot of reviews praising the room cleaners, obviously written by them themselves, which is not true since they don’t really try to clean, as there was trash lying in the corner and it remained after cleaning. In general, it’s not bad here for the money, and I repeat, you can safely settle in. There is a metro station nearby, a big plus. We had our own car and the downside is that finding the way here is always like going through a quest with overcoming an immeasurable number of forks and turns in the vast expo territory. Free underground parking is provided. The machine for making ice on the floors turned out to be very useful, cool.

Very bad service. I rented two rooms and the TV was not working in both of them. When I asked them to fix the problem, they said there was no working TV, and the response was very rude - when I asked for anything from room service, they said it was closed now. Upon arrival, Valet Parking asked me to park the car myself and then took the car key from me! What kind of hotel is this???
I will file a complaint with the relevant authorities because I did not benefit from anything from the hotel and it was the worst hotel experience in my life and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel appears to be the only hotel within walking distance of the Expo centre, hopefully more hotels pop up in the future as this is a Travelodge at best.

breakfast was fine.. the service was slow though and I was constantly asking to be served. Staff were friendly, rooms were cleaned daily.

If you’re a light sleeper ask for a quiet room, which I was given and had no problems with noise. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, I found the duvet really thin and the pillows weren’t great, the towels in the bathroom were paper thin.

I asked for a room upgrade but was told all rooms the same, no balconies, rooms are small, no bath tubs.

If you’re looking for a place to crash and need to be at the Expo centre this place is…. Fine… but, i see no other reason to stay here.

Rove and Rovsters never disappoint, we booked 2 rooms as it was not pricey at all, rove expo is one of our favourite locations for a small weekend getaways! Location is perfect away from the city, with exceptions swimming pool and the dome view.

Our host Abir at the Reception was the best, she was always smiling and helpful with a lovely friendly attitude, and gave us the best rooms. Wishing her all the success. You rock Abir💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Hope to visit Rove soon!!!

Wanted to stay here always from the time I have started visiting expo and happen to get an opportunity now only, visited here as a family group, booked two rooms and had a wonderful experience overall, a bit tricky to reach the hotel location, there is GPS coordinates send by the hotel team which will guide you, still just need to be careful with that, there was parking right in the hotel premises itself and I happen to receive free valet service also, a small confusion in during the check in process apart from that process was smooth and we were given adjacent rooms, rooms was small but neat and minimalist with very minimum amenities only, there must have been at least a small cupboard in the room in my opinion, hair drier, ironing facility, kettle, even a small balcony with a wasl and expo site view was available which I felt was great. Dental and other kits u will get upon request, the best part is we can access the expo site and walk around the entire premises or can hire a e bike and drive around the whole place which is very quite and no one to disturb you of any sort, not sure if you can access any pavilions, we just walked around the entire place which was very quite, peaceful & refreshing with memories.
Breakfast was amazing, the best part is since it is outside the city limits place is very less crowded and restaurant also was less crowded during the mornings, my booking included breakfast also and there is bread options available like a buffet and others u can order anything from the breakfast menu and they will give it on your table, that's an amazing option actually..!
The reception area is a chic design and you can spend as much time as you want there and it never gets bores, so many places to click pictures also.
There is a pool which is 24 hours, bar available and roof top swimming pool also, pool I felt could have been made a little bit more better, it is less deep and someone tall can hardly have a proper swim in it, also it closes by 7pm which I felt was a bit too early.
Anyways I will be coming back here again, it was a pleasant experience and people who likes some silence, less crowd and peacefulness u can chose here.
And ya don't forget your Nostalgia stamp if you are an expo enthusiast..!!
