The trip started pretty sour, but then turned spectacular. Let me explain... Arrived with my wife, 2 kids and a baby pretty early in the morning, so it was a bit of a risk that we took in regards to booking the room on the day we arrived as opposed to the previous night, which would have cost a lot more. inevitably, the club room wasn't ready and so we had to wait around in the hotel for a few hours before we could check in. This was of course understandable. What was not acceptable was that I had called in to the hotel directly on a few occasions prior to arrival to explain the plethora of food allergies that my children had and after verbally confirming on 3 occasions, there was no record of this whatsoever when we arrived. Even on our second day at breakfast, nothing was noted down after mentioning to all the various reception staff and so the kids were not able to eat anything due to risk of allergens and/or cross contamination. When the room was finally ready, it was a great layout and had an impressive view, however we had many problems with water pressure, hot water, toilet shower etc which were not fixed efficiently at all. Thankfully, due to a few members of staff – namely Carmen – these problems were finally addressed higher up and rectified by being moved to a different room which was not on a lower floor, and did not have any plumbing or maintenance issues. I cannot commend Carmen enough for her respect, moral values, and thoroughness in addressing each issue that we had as a family. Most importantly, these were rectified to the best of her ability. NOT ONLY THAT, she even ensured we had a meeting with the head chef Deepak, to ensure that the kids’ food requirements were taken care of and were fed appropriate breakfast lunch and dinner every day. It was a small but imperative step to ensuring peace of mind to us as parents. Club chefs Ruwan and Shahid were instrumental in communicating with us on a daily basis to prepare what the kids would enjoy and even prepare some customised small dishes to ensure variety for the children – I cannot thank them enough for their care and attention to detail. WILD WADI was great, however only 5 different amenities were available at the time. All the slides were being maintained, so I expect that the park will be fully operational in the very near future. What makes a good hotel is not just the quality of room, food, pool etc, but the care and VIP treatment that members of staff afford you as a guest. Carmen is a special person and her customer service is 100% on point – a true asset to the Jumeirah Brand. Due to the reasons above, I will be doing my best to stay at this property each time I visit Dubai with the family as it was overall one of the best holidays my family and I have ever experienced. Thank you to all those involved in making that happen. …

Terrific location, amenities and food with some of the best service we have seen in a family hotel. Everything about this hotel is impressive from the setting to the choice of restaurants and quality of them as well as the many different activities particularly for the children and the kids club. The New Years Eve gala dinner, show and fireworks display was out of this world and an experience that will last a lifetime. What really differentiates is the quality of the staff. Huge thanks to Faysal at the Executive Pool for his exemplary service and creating nice memories for our children Jacob and Max. Nathalia at the kids club was highly professional, Ahmad, Dovud & Raushan in the Executive Lounge were extraordinary in their service. Final thanks to the wonderful Hasan helping us with buggies around the resort. A fabulous resort with exceptional people who go the extra mile.…

Excellent visit to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, staying in the Beit Al Bahar Villas. The service was impeccable and we felt that the whole staff looked after us extremely well. The Executive Club Pool was spotless with a large swim up bar, and happy hour in the villas was one to look forward to each night! We would definitely like to return.

We booked a 4 day break at Jumeirah Beach Hotel for our honeymoon with our two boys of 10 and 11, and the inclusion of the Wild Wadi Water Park was a significant factor. To receive an email 2 weeks before our holiday informing us the park was closed was a huge disappointment. They did open the park but with only 5 out of 30 rides operational and it was simply waves pools and lazy rivers - not the huge rides my boys had been watching on You Tube and were excited about. We booked an Ocean Deluxe room for 2 adults and 2 children as the hotel website suggested (and still suggests) that this room can accommodate 4 people and images suggest a king size bed for two fold down beds (as the same images are used for the Ocean Family Deluxe). Upon arrival we found 4 single beds that had simply been thrown into a room giving us no space to more around the room at all. I went to reception and showed them the images from the website and I was told that this wasn't the first time they had received this complaint - blatant mis-selling in my opinion. We were booked half board and the food and the service was superb, as was the location and pools, gardens and beach. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the buggies that run around the local hotels were an excellent addition. Unfortunately the shine was taken off our holiday due to the poor room set up and closure of Wild Wadi and despite us expressing our dissatisfaction to the hotel nothing was done to remedy either situation. Please be aware that Ocean Deluxe rooms are not suitable accommodation for 4 people, and should not be sold as such at a hotel of this standard.…

Dear janeacard, Thank you for taking time to share your experience from your recent stay with us at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Your positive feedback on the overall hotel cleanliness and the Jumeirah Flavours which offers you opportunity to dine across different Jumeirah restaurants gives us immense joy. At the same time it saddened us that overall it was a disappointing experience, we acknowledge that indeed it is unfortunate that some of the Wild Wadi attractions remain currently closed and pending clearance to reopen. Please do accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience that were mentioned on your review. Rest assured that we take feedback such as yours very seriously and shared with the team to take corrective action. While we realize that we cannot undo the experience that you had during your stay, we do hope that you will in due course provide us with another chance to welcome you back. With all our very best wishes, Jan Valasek Hotel Manager

Fantastic hotel one of the best in Dubai. The rooms are super modern with all the things needed for a stay provided. The view was one of the best views. Looking over the hotel pools, over to the beach and the signature view of the Burj Al Arab. The staff were all so polite and helpful. We arrived to the hotel at 10am, normal checkin was 3pm but with 2 young kids the hotel was accommodating and sorted us out with breakfast and into our rooms for 11am. The house keeping staff we had Rony and Shushilla were fantastic. Kept our room clean in the morning and then came back in the evening to offer a refresh which was fab especially with 2 children. Food choices were great, breakfast was fantastic! Would highly recommend I don’t think we would stay anywhere else in Dubai!

Spending our days by the executive pool were amazing. On our first day we were greeted by a staff member “Faysal” who made a point to get to know us and from then on made every day there an amazing experience. He spent time to speak to us, get to know us and was extremely attentive. We really did want for nothing. Everyone was amazing but this man definitely deserves individual praise. Nothing was ever an issue he was extremely well mannered and polite. Thank you for Faysal for going above and beyond and giving us the best experience possible.

We wanted something extra special to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and I am somewhat glad we booked JBH. 1. We arrived at the hotel at 9:30am and our room was not ready, we were shown another room however the view was not great due to construction so we had to wait approximately 3/4hours for another. This was not great as our 2 young children were extremely tired after our over night flight. The staff on reception do not deliver a 5* service unfortunately. We were then shown to our room, however again we had to call for our bags to be brought up. Overall, our checkin experience was not great. Reception staff did not explain the free buddy service provided by the hotel which transports you around to sister hotels and beach nor that we could use the facilities at the other hotels we had to venture out ourselves and find out (so glad we did as this was great in the evenings) the staff who drive the buggies are absolutely wonderful, they are a credit to the hotel. 2. Room was lovely upon arrival there were treats for the children and the views were lovey, we could still partly see the construction but didn’t bother us too much nor could we hear much noise. The room was clean and tidy, through out our stay housekeeping done an amazing job twice a day. We can not fault the room, we also received a cake as it was our daughters birthday which was a lovely touch. - thank you!! We required water for our children and the housekeeping team would always put complimentary bottles for us (water throughout the hotel is not free which is ridiculous) 3. We booked this hotel for Wild Wadi however it was under construction, such a disappointment as we ended up paying over £300 to visit Atlantis Adventure waterpark. Wild wadi had a few rides open however nothing apart from pool and lazy river suitable for our 3 year old. I feel the hotel should have communicated this better or compensated for Atlantics. Our children loved the lazy river and the wave machine in the pool. Life guards are everywhere so it’s really reassuring for us with young children and they are so friendly too.Life jackets are available for toddlers/older children and adults. The pool staff again are so friendly despite working in the scorching heat. 4. Apart from the front desk staff all the staff through our the hotel are so welcoming, the hospitality received from the kitchen, F&B team, pool staff, security and housekeeping was extra ordinary!! Our children were always treated so well. 5. Kid club was great, our children loved going and again the staff were really nice and the activities were varied and fun. 6. Food was lovey however we ate at the hotel most nights and apart from the theme night everything else was the same so we ate the same food for 7 night as the options for vegetarian was not varied compared to non-veg. We opted for the half board option as we thought this would easier with young children The food quality and taste was definitely 10/10, the chefs are so welcoming and friendly. Our last night we ate at Kitchen Connection and it was Mexican night however there were no veg options so we requested to chef to make us vegetarian quesadillas, which he kindly did and they tasted delicious!! Breakfast can be crazy during 9-11am so get there before, however the staff try their best to be accommodating despite the mad rush. Overall, we had a lovely time at JBH, we feel the hotel is 5* and the experience was really enjoyable and positive. We were always greeted with a friendly smile by staff, however only a few minor issues let the hotel down which is around effective communication and having to constantly ask for water in the room/not being explained the facilities available within the hotel and the welcome pack does not have any details either. I think we would try another family/kid friendly hotel for our next Dubai vacation but stay within the Jumeriah chain as the facilities are fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!…
