Hotel's Favourite
The location is in downtown, but not within walking distance from Dubai Mall or Burj Khalifa etc.
We stayed here for 1 night after arriving from airport after midnight and left to oir actual hotel for the stay in the morning, so our experience is based on only a few hours.
The staff was super friendly. Felt more like ultra luxury hotel type of service rather than a basic 5 star service. Luggage was rapidly carried to the room and check in was rapid too, and received a mega upgrade to a 120m2 suite from a basic room (partly due to high status, but also due to who knows what) but it was definitley a highly appreciated surprise. They also gave us a tour of the room which usually only happens on the best of the best hotels.
They also filled all our special requests as sent to them by email before our arrival, such as extra towels and pillows. Superior attention to detail here!
The room was mega large, but at the same time a bit run down. By no means was it dirty or rusty, but the furniture and floor definitely had seen some life.
The bed was alright. Our room was on floor 6, so the traffic was surprisingly loud all the way to the room on the 6th floor. So if you require silence for your sleep, reguest a high floor.
Breakfast was nice, had everything one needs and was not crowded.
All in all I would definitely recomment the hotel and for sure believe it has great value for money in Dubais standards.

The Oberoi Hotel in Dubai at Business Bay is truly an outstanding hotel, and stands out among the many luxury hotels in Dubai and UAE due to the excellent staff at this property. My parents, brother, and myself were visiting Dubai in February 2020, and our whole stay at this hotel was amazing and great! The rooms are so luxurious and comfortable, and the whole hotel property is very well designed, spacious, and modern. Every part of the hotel is well kept and clean. The breakfasts at Nine7One are very tasty and have so many options to choose from, including local and global dishes, all top class and absolutely delicious. Every staff member at the hotel is very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy and fulfill guests' needs or requests. They will specifically make sure that your stay in Dubai is memorable for your lifetime. Aman, Muzammil, Gauzab, Su and Anthony at the Nine7One restaurant would far exceed our expectations in their care of us when we would have breakfast early in the morning. They would even make any customization they could for the menu for my parents to make sure their meal was excellent. They would be consistently checking on all guests dining in the morning, and would even share valuable tips and information on the best ways to explore Dubai or what unique sites and places a tourist should see. The housekeeping crew on our floor specifically decorated my Mom's room for her birthday, and it was amazing the job that they did, and she was so surprised and happy, and told us and the staff it is a memory she will never forget and will always appreciate and cherish. Rohan, the night manager, made sure all arrangements were taken care of when we checked in, which was very late in the night/early morning. Rahul, our concierge, is absolutely outstanding and went to great lengths to take care of us during our trip, and made a detailed and well planned itinerary for our stay in Dubai. He has so much knowledge of Dubai, and helped us out daily, even going out of his way to take care of any external issues that he could, including any issues with transportation. Like all of the staff at The Oberoi, he is very hard working and detail oriented, and will take care of hotel guests as if they are his own family members. This mindset from Rahul and the staff at The Oberoi really sets it apart from the many luxury hotels in Dubai. I highly recommend this hotel due to its excellent accommodations and service, and very much hope to be able to return and stay there again.

Most people travel for business for a week or couple of weeks but our visit was long long long as we stayed in the Oberoi for 66 days at a stretch, it indeed was a marathon stay. We had been there for an International Sports event and it was being held in pandemic, no doubt the event was a great success despite the fact that it was held in a bio bubble. Now to begin each of us was to quarantine for first six days in our hotel room and even after that one had to be in a particular bubble for the rest of the days, either we were in our bubble in hotel or at the stadium on game days. Now this was challenging as so.e of us initially called it solitary confinement in a 5 star hotel. But things turned out just fine for us as the rooms provided were huge and most of us had great view from rooms. The visit was made comfortable by the efficient staff of the Oberoi they also had to sacrifice their independence for our sake and were also working in bubbles and staying in the hotel itself cut off from family and friends.
Soon enough we had estaiblished a bond with them. The housekeeping staff and the In Dining staff was closely associated with us, hence it was like travelling on the same boat. The whole staff exhibited professionalism and worked diligently. Important point being that they gave personal attention to us and were prompt to help us in any which way.
From housekeeping Chandan, Deepak, Prakash and Gladys were very very cooperative and friendly. Gladys was the girl who tirelessly worked on 15 rooms including two suites it was a big responsibility yet she worked with enthusiasm. Her dedication to work was unparalleled. Her supervisor Chandan was also a great help to us. At times another energetic young man Deepak would to come for work and would impress us with his professional conduct. Prakash was perhaps above all of them in hierarchy yet he was very humble and join his junior colleagues to complete the task, this is remarkable.
In Dining staff consisting of Mansoor, Anthony, Vishal, Mirah, Muzzammil, Mithushi, Nouzua, Khaula and Su fed us with love and affection they
were generous and in no time got to know our taste and would serve us accordingly. All of the a above staff had charm and they always served
with smile.
Any organization is known by its work ethics, role of senior management is always important but the staff working at the cutting edge is people like Prakash, Chandan, Anthony, Monsour, Gladys, Su, Nonjua and Mitushi, They are the real brand ambassador of the great hotel Chain like The Oberoi.
I congratulate The Oberoi for remarkable service provided to us in difficult times.

We have literally just left after a 2 day stay here and I can’t express how wonderful it has been. From the moment we arrived (which was very early following a night flight) until the second we left, the service we have received has been impeccable. The room was spacious and comfortable, especially the bed! The bathroom was huge with a great shower and bathtub which overlooked the pool from a floor to ceiling window. Breakfast was lovely, with a fabulous selection of Middle Eastern, Indian and continental choices on the buffet. Plus a menu to order. A special mention for both Aman and Mohammed whose service was fantastic, helpful and friendly. Most importantly I want to mention the concierge here, Rahul, for whom nothing was too much trouble. He literally organised everything for us from transport to trips and gave great advice on where to eat, shop and visit. His attention to detail was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, I wish every hotel had a Rahul he is a very valuable member of staff!

We stayed here on a family trip to South India. 4 days in Dubai and do not regret the hotel for a second.
The hotel staff is honestly some of the best in the Oberoi Group, as we have stayed at many of their properties in the last 2 years. Mrinal Sharma - and her team keep the standard at what luxury is defined by. She is very personable, able to connect with guests at a truly normal level but she does not loose the grace of professionalism.
Food - the best of the best of any cuisine you could imagine. Quality, preparation, and taste is on point thanks to Anthony, Vishal, the chefs, there entire restaurant team in the lower restaurant during breakfast (you know who you are - Canadian Family misses you very much).
We will definitely be back here for sure.
this is a bit far from JBR and Jumirah but its nice to have somewhere cozy and quite at the end. The fountain is a short drive and the hotel does offer shuttles which is a super bonus.

I stayed at the Oberoi Dubai for new years 2020 with my wife and my infant. Whilst the room and facilities are very good, the staff is extremely warm and welcoming.
On 31st night my son had a medical emergency and needed to go to the hospital. In the business bay area it is extremely difficult to find cars as entry exit points are blocked.
However the hotel was swift to arrange a car for us within seconds and provided room cleaning services and special food needs for our infant. The response and treatment of the situation was extremely helpful and the compassion of the staff was very evident.
Thanks Oberoi and especially the Duty Manager Rohan who was super helpful at that night.

I was travelling with my wife, after a conference at Abu Dhabi, Visit to Dubai was just extension of work to vacation.
I am so pleased to have chosen to stay at The Oberoi, Dubai.
Check in there was a bit Delay due some Computer problem, for which front desk staff more than made up.
Ultra Modern Luxurious Rooms.
Very Helpful Professional Staff, I am thankful to Housekeeping staff, for taking care of minute detail like" coiling up all the Charging Cables & Tying them with Velcro", it touched my heart.
I am also Profusely Thankful to serving staff at "Nine7one", who on realising, we as VEGANS are not getting our moneys worth at Barbecue, took the trouble of organising a Veg. Kabab Platter from Ananta. Again a gesture which leaves you, Totally in love with the place & People.
I think only the BEST staff are sent for Oberoi Dubai.

Finally landed at Dubai this morning at 6.30 after a few stressful days.
We originally booked a COVID-19 test with an agreed price of £125.00 per person at a walk-in pre booked London clinic but after ringing up to confirm are booking on Monday before we set off we were told it had gone up to £325.00 per person because of the high demand.
As this seemed totally unreasonable we managed to secure a NHS test although many miles away from where we live.
We took the test at 8.00 pm on Monday 14 and had the test back within 24 hours.
We flew out yesterday 19 September and arrived in Dubai at 6.30 am.
Heathrow airport was all most deserted and checking in took around 20 minutes.
The NHS Covid 19 test was excepted with no questions, make sure you bring the email that tells you when and where you’re test will be taken plus test results.
Plane was two thirds empty so all passengers could sit anywhere with plenty of space to stretch out.
Normal food and drink service was in place although felt a little rushed.
Most people on the plane had face masks on but those who did not were not confronted by air hostesses.
From plane landing to picking up rental car took no more than 20 minutes.
Showed customs passport and COVID 19 test and we were through.
We had to fill in a form on the plane and download a special app but no one at customs asked for any of this.
Hotel is almost empty but early days yet.

Incredible customer service and breakfast for royals. I sent my mum on a lone visit and they looked after her every need. She described the staff as attentive, kind and always once step ahead of the game. They made sure rose petals were waiting in a filled hot bath. WOW!

We were group of about 40 people of close family and friends and stayed for 4 nights. Oberoi offered amazing stay with perfection in all departments - rooms, pool, in room dining, breakfast, concierge.. other than delay in getting couple of rooms, our stay was overall an awesome experience.
Standard deluxe rooms are very spacious with luxurious bathroom comparable to suite rooms of other hotels . Top notch bathroom amenities too. Abundant water bottles available in room and replenished again in turn down services Highly recommended if travelling with kids.
Breakfast spread is quite good backed by several on order options served promptly on table. They even stretch to accomodate possible requests for items not available as standard menu.
Staff is extremely curteous and very friendly. Doorman is quick to organize taxi, open car door and help with baggage. If city taxi takes time to come, they promptly help to call taxi through apps. Lobby is not on ground floor by design but their promptness in helping with cab covers that up.
Making a group happy with services is certainly not a easy job but Oberoi excelled in all aspects. Well done.
