This remains one of the more sophisticated and chic places in Dubai - far better than the noise and crowd that is Jeremiah beach and all the resorts there and easier access than The Palm.
My third stay and I will return - but in urgent need of room refurbishment and upgrades. Reasonable size room and bathroom ok - but dated. Toiletries made in Malaysia and Turkey - soap in China - small plastic bottles. Water refreshed every day - again plastic bottles - no fresh fruit in room - welcome dates and baklava were good.
Rooms face the creek and either overlook the adult lagoon at one end, the city and marina in the middle and the children’s lagoon at the other end. My preference is the middle! If you book a lagoon room be sure to know which lagoon, as the rooms over looking the children’s lagoon are a little way from the main facilities - but great if you have smaller children. The room blocks are referred to as blocks 1,2,3 and 4 - so my preference is the part of block 2 NOT overlooking the Twiggy lagoon. Block 3 is a reasonable compromise and Block 4 overlooks the children’s lagoon.
Children’s lagoon great for families - the old pool in the middle of the resort is still a stylish place with a bit more shade, helpful staff and a mix of adults, children and an older group looking for a space with no music! The other adult only lagoon ‘by Twiggy’ is run by a third party and is a party location - this is the one all the pictures are of! A younger crowd especially at weekends, music and food. Excellent staff will look after you and while no seats are reserved for hotel guests and they make their money from day passes etc the staff are thoughtful and managed to find us seats away from the ‘heavy’ end of the beach! The loungers are close together but staff are super helpful and good at making you comfortable.
Some of the basics from a top range hotel are missing at the Twiggy pool - no free water when you sit down - no cold fruit shots or fruit kebabs and no ice creams - all of these are complimentary at places like the Ritz Carlton.
At the bar Nome - which is really the only bar at the hotel - no nuts or anything when ordering drinks at $20 a go.
Reception welcoming and recognition of past stay and Hyatt members is good. All the staff are super friendly - particularly the woman host at breakfast, and Bryan at the Twiggy lagoon.

Location close to airport, but far from many attractions in Dubai - not something you guys can change, but a bit annoying. We were not greeted nor welcomed/upgraded as Hyatt Discoverists - instead were asked to pay for upgrades to poolside rooms which was not even in line with what we wanted as an “upgrade”. Room was nice but not wow - felt like a nice mid-upper tier room. Things like Toto washlet (Park Hyatt Sydney) or better bath products (I think both PH NY and Sydney had Le Labo) would go some way towards a nicer experience. Overall hotel staff was a bit hit and miss. Some of the front desk staff were great, some not as helpful as expected. The bellboy was good. Thai restaurant was fairly good, though took a bit of time between ordering and getting food. Cafe with not enjoyable coffee. Breakfast was touted to be great by front desk staff, but did not compare well against other Park Hyatt locations - setup/buffet flow was confusing, food itself was B+, coffee was not enjoyable, and service was mediocre. The summary experience is that PH Dubai felt like a place that perhaps took its own hype too seriously, rather than focusing on the guest. We have always thought of Park Hyatt stays as a nice treat where the staff bend over backwards to ensure a pleasant experience, but PH Dubai didn’t quite live up to that. Oh, and I got 2 missed calls from PH Dubai after our stay to solicit feedback - we were in Seychelles on the beach. No voicemail. I looked up the number and was concerned we had left something behind. Called back, gave my name, and after a few minutes was told it was just to solicit feedback. On international calling minutes. When a voicemail could’ve been left, or email could have been used to communicate. The few dollars didn’t matter, but it just added to the feeling of the summary feeling mentioned above.

During cehck in we mentioned that it was our honeymoon trip. not even a little fruit basket or nothing was given us. When approaching the concoerge we asked if she can help us getting the famous chocloate since you can only order it via an UAE app when there is a UAE phone number required. SHe said no she tried calling and cant help. When our flight got canceled we paid several hunderd dollars to reach flydubai a uae airline wihtoout success. We approach the concierge not did he even told me that they dont assist with bookings he said he can try them calling for me after asking me for the number(i expect from a 5 star concierge to know the number) he told me the number is not working or he is not allowed to call 0600 numbers and finished the conversaion with me and let me hang without any help) the entire guest relation deparmtent did very much underperform during our stay and did not deliver the expltional service you would exept from a hotel in this class. On the other hand housekeeping was extremly satisfaying the room was done several times a day and we ddid not even see once the service personal so no interoption of our stay. Guest relations is defenlty not on a level of a 5 star hotel. During check-in, we mentioned that it was our honeymoon trip, but not even a small fruit basket or anything special was offered to us. When we approached the concierge, we asked if she could help us get a popular chocolate that can only be ordered through a UAE app, which requires a UAE phone number. I expected a 5-star concierge to know the number, but he told me it wasn’t working or that he wasn’t allowed to call 0600 numbers, and then he simply ended the conversation, leaving us without any help.
Overall, the entire guest relations department significantly underperformed during our stay and did not deliver the exceptional service one would expect from a hotel of this class. On the other hand, housekeeping was extremely satisfactory—the room was cleaned several times a day, and we never once saw the service personnel, so our stay was never interrupted. Unfortunately, guest relations are definitely not on the level of a 5-star hotel.

The Park Hyatt Dubai has been One of our favourite places to visit for a meal or a drink for many years. The spa is exceptional. This year we decided to stay for Christmas as a family, with friends and my mother. Overall our stay was very disappointing, the service was extremely slow, the rooms are in desperate need of an update and have terrible lighting and storage. Whilst the staff were extremely friendly, there were language difficulties and they were very slow. Check-in time on Christmas Eve for some of our rooms was 6 pm. Why would you give someone a late checkout on a room when you’ve got other guests checking in with children on Christmas Eve. We got allocated rooms but then had to pack up and move again on Christmas Day. Christmas Day our table was above the bbq so we had a layer of ash over us and the table by the end, our hair and clothes all smelt of smoke. Christmas Eve we ate at Noepe which took forever, we had to keep reminding them to clear our table between courses. Despite taking the set menu they had suggested I left the table before desert because it was so late. Overall thoroughly disappointing, which is such a shame.

The Park Hyatt Dubai was an outstanding hotel. First of all, the room had a giant balcony, mini bar, in-room dining menu, and if you are traveling with a child, they already have an extra bed set up! Second of all, the food was amazing! For breakfast, I would highly recommend Brasserie du Park for breakfast, and the Thai Kitchen! Lastly, the thing I most appreciated about the hotel was the excellent service and the kindness of the hotel staff. The service is so amazing that you don't even have to put the "make my room" sign, they come and clean your room in the morning and evening! In Brasserie du Park, the servers were very kind, especially Ati, Sahil, and Nikhil. On our last day, they gave my daughter a pancake! Our visit to the Park Hyatt was truly fabulous!

Recently I have had a fairly long streak of subpar Park Hyatts. After St.Kitts, Seoul, Siem Reap, Chennai, Toronto.... maybe even add Bangkok and Istanbul to this list, I am not sure I could say Dubai is subpar, but it is certainly not above average. The suite is spacious and the view is very nice. The hotel public areas are impressive and I loved the pool. There were pockets of good service so unlike some PHs their service is not "Hyatt Regency level". But it was still not "wow" service like some others (Doha, Zurich, Saigon), for example no children welcome amenities which is a missed opportunity. Most PHs at least give a small something like a stuffed animal or something according to their judgment. A manager made the rounds greetings customers during breakfast which was nice, but other staff were overworked and many orders missed. When I pointed out what we missed, instead of taking responsibility they said "we are busy".
Nevertheless, the main problem is that the hotel is quite aging by now. The carpet in the suite was very old and stained, kind of yucky. To make matters worse, there were lots of ants in our room every single day and after a few days I realized it came from the joint between that carpet and the marble floor. Ants in Dubai on a top floor room is a no-go because there are way too many new and modern hotels in the city.
Bottom line, I still cannot put this hotel in the above average category and I am unlikely to return in the short term considering how many options exist in Dubai which we like better. Once they renovate, I will give them another chance because they were genuinely interested in my honest feedback at check-out in order to improve.

I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt Dubai, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is simply stunning, with breathtaking views of the marina and the Dubai Creek. Waking up to the serene waters and the Dubai skyline in the background was truly a highlight of my stay. The common spaces are good, nice park and amenities around the area.
But I have to list out the following items to share:
1. If you have the budget for Park Hyatt, go to Atlantis the Royal or other newly opened resorts. This one opened in 2006, 13-year old building. The hallway, room, rugs all smells. I have to let them clean again for the room smell when I first entered as I could not bear it. The curtain does not function well, I got scratches on my arm because the curtain doesn't move and the metal stick has a very rough tip at the bottom. Rug has spots every where, do not look clean to me.
2. Hyatt hotel group should improve their App function, I ordered several items , including comb, non allergic pillow from their App at around 11:30pm, the room service team delivered it at 2am in the morning when we were sleeping. Both me and my partner got nightmare that night. It should be a common sense that you don't wake up your customer at 2am.
3. Room has no sunshine so I turned the AC off every single day because the room was so cold. But every day I went back, I saw the AC turned cold at a very low temperature. I had ti bear the coldness everyday when I was back to the room.
4. During my first stay I have my bathing salt on the bathtub shelf, and it just disappeared the second day. I have to call room service to get it.
5. Bad sound proof for the room. There's a bar that playing loud music till 2am and we have to bear it.

Complimentary access for hotel guests. Go down early in peak season and give your room number to the staff. I had no issues and went most days during a two week trip.
There are more places to choose from in the Dubai area.
