Taj Dubai stands out for its exceptional service, with guests frequently lauding the hotel staff's attentiveness and warmth. The spacious and clean rooms are popular among travelers, though a few mention dated decor. Its prime downtown location offers easy access to Dubai's landmarks, and the hotel's amenities, including diverse dining and shuttle services, contribute to its appeal.
While the vibrant atmosphere is generally appreciated, some guests find the live music too loud. Opinions on value vary, with some pointing out additional costs.

Detailed Reviews
I Recently stayed at the Taj Hotel. He's and honest review.
Upon arrival we was greeted with a drink and assisted with check in. To be asked if we wanted to upgrade our room, as smokers we asked for a smoking room and asked to be upgraded to the Junior suite. Once we paid for the upgrade we was later told it wasn't a smoking room. Which wasn't the end of the world because we didn't realise smoking rooms you had to smoke inside.
Junior suite (Room 1000) was very clean and spacious we was happy with the room facilities itself but there was a strange musky smell but we put this down to the air-conditioning not being own and the room was very warm upon arrival. Room was supplied with loads of bottled waters which was good which they dont charge for. However they do have mini bar but £8 for a can of soft drink is ridiculous I felt so went downstairs to the bar instead (which was about £1 Cheaper )
Thursday to Sunday the Terrace bar plays very loud music so being on the 10th floor this kept myself and my wife awake up until about 1am. I did flag this with reception they offered to move us but the only rooms available were higher up which my wife wasn't comfortable with as she is scared of heights.
Returning back to the hotel after dinning out, we went to have a drink in the hotel we sat outside on the Terrace waited nearly 30 minutes for someone to come over to be told that we will not served outside.
There is no service from Monday to Wednesday. I said to the waiter all I wanted was two diet pepsi before we head to bed. To be told again there will no service outside if I want a drink I will need to sit inside which I declined.
I didn't pay loads of money to sit inside a tent. I'm not slamming the waiter here as he is only instructed on what to say an do.
But customers should be advised before hand. The next day the manager approached me to apologise and told me to come down this evening for a drink which we did but had to sit inside for as again they wasn't serving outside. This is around 10pm in the evening by the way.
I would like to say a massive thank you as well to the three lifeguards around the pool they are so polite and they can't do enough for you. They were so delightful.
The chauffeur coordinator outside was so helpful with arranging our chauffeur every morning and evening. So a massive thank you to them as well.
The cleaners cleaned our room everyday sometimes twice a day the room was about spotless thank you.
Breakfast i rated 3 out 10. wide spread of different foods but I felt it lacked freshness and quality. We only had breakfast 3 times there and went out to CZN Burak for a Turkish breakfast on the other days.
English pub restaurants downstairs on the ground floor was 10 out of 10. Lovely cocktails and food.
I know it seems like a lot of negative comments but in all I would definitely return to the Taj. But would just do things differently now.

Stay at Taj Dubai,Burj Khalifa Street in August 2024
Dates of Stay: 21 August to 31 August, 2024
This visit to Dubai was special as we had great memories in previous stay in July 2024 for 15 days. I was so happy that after my first ever visit to Dubai in July 2024, this second visit came so soon and I was going to witness the great hospitality of Taj Dubai Burj Khalifa Street again.
This time I took the liberty to ask Mansi Mam directly to favor me with a booking and she was so prompt in getting it done with confirmation as well and got call from hotel as well. They ensured that I get the room with best view and members rate as well being TIC member.
When I checked in front office ensured that I get best of the room in facility.Surely 2905 was the best for sure with Burj Khalifa view..
Staff at front is very welcoming and always ready to help guests with smile which makes guests so comfortable. I liked the traditional welcome with Tulsi Mala, gives a great feeling and attachment to our culture.
To thank in person I would like to mention the staff at reception in evening during my check in on August 21,2024. Mansi Mam was personally there as well.
The best part of this facility is that we see feeling of homeliness right from top to bottom and GM Mr Arora leads from front. He personally ensured I have a pleasant stay with my choice of food during stay.
The best part of my stay was to experience the lounge services off and on as well during my tight schedules, there also staff is amazing- Mr. Sidhartha and for great care and arranging without onion snacks during my visits..
I experienced some great hospitality and best of cuisines in Floor 3 during my breakfasts. Staff were highly caring, to name few Anurag/Akhilesh/Aastha/Sarita/Ritik and few others. Specially they were so welcoming and caring to ensure that we are fed well. They were up to the task that I get without onion meals everyday.
Special thanks to Chef and his team for taking care of my choice. It was a great experience overall to enjoy exclusive dishes with best of Chefs there.
I am missing many other names whom I would like to thank personally for making my stay memorable again and it strengthened my bonds further with Taj.

Spa and fitness staff is amazing. I must appreciate Mr Vishnu, Ms Maya and Ms Phoo for their great care and hospitality. Even Anil was very active to serve.
Even the security staff and support staff were so caring and welcoming right from the day of check in to check out.
One suggestion, please change your conditioner bottles in bathrooms as it is very hard to take out from small hole as it is not liquid.

Our stay at the Taj was amazing! The staff are incredibly accommodating, polite and helpful. My husband and I had a very very early/late departing flight and with a payment, the staff was able to let us keep our room until very late in the evening which was beyond helpful prior to a 16 hour flight back home. Our room was incredibly spacious and the view of the Burj was quite honestly, pretty cool. Our friend who lives in Dubai commented and was even impressed by the view. The room was always tidied well by housekeeping and the hotel is very generous with providing bottled drinking water during your stay which is highly important since Dubai can get very hot. Additionally, the hotel is located right downtown and Business Bay, so the convenience factor is high.
Also, we ate at the Mediterranean restaurant on property and had drinks at the Treehouse restaurant. We were genuinely surprised that even those were a 10/10 on the food and drinks.
Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone. Our friend who lives locally even commented that they would also recommend the property to others who would visit. Thank you Taj!

We stayed at the Taj Dubai for 3 nights as part of a short stay in Dubai. We were very happy with our stay. The check in process (even though it was gone midnight) was quick and efficient; we even got a welcome drink while we waited for a staff member to become available). Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. I felt that my pillows weren't great, but in the morning I phoned housekeeping and they immediately sent up a staff member with extra pillows. The room was clean and had free Molton Brown toiletries to use which was a treat. Staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top and were very respectful of privacy. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The hotel is in a top location for downtown Dubai and we had no problem taking the 10-15 min walk to the Fountains/mall every night to soak up the atmosphere. Overall, a really good stay and I would recommend this hotel - we wouold stay again. It just loses one point for not really being 5*, it's more 4* (rooms are a little tired and you're offered a complimentary fruit platter; which sounds lovely, but what arrived was 2 apples and a small pear on a plate.....)

The Luxury King room was spacious enough and tastefully decorated.
Spacious communal spaces and wide corridors.
Breakfast with a good selection.
The pool and small garden are on the third floor terrace. The pool is not very big, but big enough for swimming.
There were always free sunbeds by the pool. I think you can sunbathe only in the first half of the day.
Very attentive service, everywhere (in the lobby, at breakfast, by the pool).
I really liked the good smelling detergents, but since they are very masculine and also quite strong smelling, my lady didn't want to use them.
The Dubai Fountain is approximately 15 minutes' walk away.
High-speed internet is available for an additional fee, medium-speed internet is included in the accommodation price.
In the bathroom, there is a special socket for the shaver only. There are no regular sockets and the hair dryer must be used in the room.
There is no wardrobe closet, there is a special corner for suitcases and a rod for hangers, but there are no shelves to put clothes. Clothes can only be hung on a hanger.
The window panes were quite dirty, it might have been from the big storm and rain that was here the week before we arrived.

Dear Yllar, Thank you for taking the time to complete the TripAdvisor survey. We are delighted to note that you had a pleasant stay with us and enjoyed the room, breakfast, facilities and service. I have also made a note of your feedback with regards to your room experience wherein you highlighted the WIFI, wardrobe layout and socket placement. Please be aware that wardrobe design is part of the design of the room however we will keep your feedback in mind should we do a refurbishment in the future. The socket placement however is part of the building requirement from the UAE law for safety reason. With regards to the window cleanliness this is due to the weather conditions in UAE that we are currently experiencing. On behalf of the entire team here in Taj Dubai, we look forward to welcome you back soon. Warm regards, Saurabh Tiwari Area Director – Operations, Middle East and General Manager, Taj Dubai

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for Ridda, our housekeeping lady, who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything is spotless and organized. We stayed at the Taj Dubai for a week. The room was spacious with a massive picture window giving views of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountains - if you’re so inclined the bathroom also had blind that could be opened so you could lounge in the bath and take in the views as well.
The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and the staff were all friendly, courteous, and helpful.
The pool area was good for a city centre hotel with plenty of beds and room to enjoy the sunshine. The lifeguards on duty looked after us very well, helping with beds and towels - special shout to Paul in particular (the others were great too, but I a) don’t catch their names and b) he was the main man.
Breakfast was great with an excellent buffet selection of Indian and Mediterranean dishes along with the usual fare. There was also a good selection of cooked to order dishes, I highly recommend the Bobby Dosa.
All in all, a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back.
We had the good fortune to share the hotel with the India cricket team which added a little bit of glamour to our stay, but I won’t knock off any ratings if they aren’t there next time!

Went for a short 2 night stay with my Cuz and aunt, as a surprise for my sister, who had arrived a day earlier, on her birthday.
The check in was smooth and we were welcomed by traditional welcome aarti thali and an exquisitely perfumed and crafted Tulsi mala.
The gentleman at the check in understood all our requirements since it was a surprise for my sister and noted that it was her birthday.
My Cuz and I who were sharing a room were upgraded to a larger room without any extra charges.
When we returned later in the evening after surprising my sister at the Mall and on going with her to her room we were pleasantly surprised to see they had arranged birthday balloons in the room with a birthday wishes card and were presented with a small cake to cut... Happiness and shows the information being passed and the hospitality being extended far and beyond.
The rooms themselves were spotless and clean with 2 large LCD in our room as we had an upgraded room and a large sofa pullout.
The amenities were top notch with exquisitely selected bottles for storing the various bath soaps and shampoos.
There was even a coffee machine besides the usual kettle with enough coffee pod choices and refills ..... Being a coffee person..... Grateful thanks. 😁
A well stocked refrigerator and snacks in the mini bar were welcome.
The bed itself was soft and engulfing, tho i might have gone for a bit firmer support. But that is just nitpicking. Room lighting was great and everything functioned as required.
The only meals we had at the hotel was breakfast, which had all the usual suspects and more than enough choices with everyone at your service with a greeting and smile. The tastes and flavours were authentic and we were spoilt for choice.
Everyone from the bell hops, the room service staff the Sikh Doorman who always welcomed with a "sat sri akal" made us feel very welcome and served with a smile and a wish for our pleasant stay. Much appreciated. 🙏
The location of the hotel is great for a wide variety of people be it for business, work or leisure. The proximity to the Dubai mall/ Burj Khalifa, makes it all the more attractive.
Connectivity is never a problem in Dubai with metro stations nearby, hotel drop off, taxis, et all.
Overall would rate this the best hospitality and stay in a 5star hotel that I have stayed at in Dubai over several visits which includes stay at the Fairmont hotel too.
Best wishes to the Staff and look forward to our next stay in this hotel and experiencing their 10star hospitality.

Absolute worst hotel experience in every sense, having paid €477/night for a pretty basic room and long list of bad experiences that seem to be "standard" at this hotel. 1. We were in room 1411 and troubled by the extremely loud music at the pool, which actually also chased us and other pool guests away the next day (Sat) after we were moved to "the quietest" area, room 2503 and also disturbs SPA guests, there goes your expensive massage with loud pumping music in the foreground! 2. Even in the quietest room on the 25th floor, we faced constant very loud music. 3. There is soo much wrong with the rooms, you constantly have to call reception. From the stupidest things like unable to turn the TV off because batteries are empty, coffee machine not working or no cups, to more serious issues like your bathroom flooding when taking a shower, broken iron, and near zero water pressure. 4. Water pressure is soo low, the hand shower is just for show. You can only use the rain shower, which still has limited water. 5. The carpet in both rooms was quite stained. We have stayed in older hotels with similar colour carpet that was properly cleaned. You definitely do not want to walk barefoot. 6. Since you have to call so many times and wait for a solution, at some point that just gets annoying and you come to accept the fact you could have 2 luxury holidays on a Spanish or Caribbean island for the same money and enjoy your time a lot more. This hotel should be avoided. I keep updating my review.. 7. On many floors, cleaning service starts between 5-6, the time you might want to relax and get ready for dinner.. 8. Staff is often clueless. Management is not visible. 9. The contrast with other experiences in Dubai, with personnel regularly asking for feedback to improve, is huge. Do not expect anyone here asking for feedback to improve. 10. Even though we had DND on, they called us waking is up. The 2 (why 2!?) phones by the bed are broken, they ring but you don't hear anything. So you have to use the 3rd phone by the desk and let it ring couple of times. By then, you are def awake. 11. For 5 nights, by now I feel like I'm at work with all those calls.

From Taj Dubai there is a shuttle service to Dubai Mall every hour except during lunch. Starts in the morning, not sure- 9 or 10 am up to 8.30 or 9.00pm. Check the times with concierge.
The restaurants I dined at varied, people dressed smart casual or even a little dressier but unless dining at a 5 star restaurant it’s a very smart casual city.
If your staying in Taj dubai hotel, get their shuttle service for free to dubai mall or get a taxi not far from burj khalifa
The Palm Jumeria is a 30 mins drive so is the Mall of Emirates
