We stayed here again after being here 12 years ago. The pros are that it is quite central (though up a very steep hill), it is situated on top of a hill overlooking the city and has a nice area for sitting outside, as long as nobody is smoking nearby. Breakfast was good, but not buffet style. Our standard room...

The hostel is situated quite well at a small hill right next to the city center (5-10 minutes of walking distance). It offers a really nice terrace for all guests. The host speaks English, Spanish and German fluently (German ancestors). He was very friendly and is very open (talks a lot with you, very helpful, really makes it a nice...

My experience was very different. I did not have the pleasure of staying here (although on my next visit I will). I was stuck, at 630am with nowhere to go. I needed wifi and had no phone and could not find my accommodation. I stumbled across Offenbacher-hof and it was closed. The taxi driver called the number, and within minutes...

The hotel location on top of the hill makes a bit wearing climb everyday, but compensates it with great views and not so much traffic despite otherwise central location. Breakfast was decent with fresh fruit.

It's an old house converted to hotel. You have to go up 3 stories and no one helps you w luggage. If you get to stay higher than lobby you might have to carry stuff 3 more stories. After an all nighter flight into hours drive ,they would not check us in because we were 45 minutes earlier than 2...

I didn't stay in Vina del Mar, but had I, I would have stayed here! The owner was nice enough to let my husband and I store our bags for the day while we toured the town before our bus left. The place looks really cool and is set on a cliff overlooking the city!

Initially I was going to stay in Eco-Hostal Offenbacher - Hof on December 26-30, but after I completed my reservation (directly with the hotel) I got an email from the management of the hotel asking if I was interested in staying for the New Year's night. I was offered to join the New Year's eve party with supper. The price...

You have some choices in Viña...empty your wallet and stay at the glitzy/sterile Sheraton, or find something more modest. In the modest category the Offenbacher Hof is a nice find. There has obviously been a lot of work done to the residence and it seems the rooms are being incrementally remodeled? The first room we had (21) had many problems...

I spend a weekend there with my parents and we had a great time. The host, Francisco, knows everything in the area and gave us the best tips, for sure our trip was a lot better with the tour he told us to do. The house is near to the bus station and the room is very big (we were...

We spent two nights here and we felt that we got a good value for the price. It is easy to walk to the bus station and to the downtown area. The rooms and the hotel itself are aged but clean. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good.
