Lovely old house with well manicured grounds. I enjoyed reading about the history of the place. Unfortunately, we weren't recipients of the warm hospitality other folks raved about. Sheila disappeared a few minutes after showing us to our room and we were left wandering if a key would be forthcoming, what the internet password was, what part of the house...

My husband and I got married in Allegan, and both of our parents stayed at the inn, as well as a few other family members, filling all the rooms. Sheila was such a delight to work with, and our family still has not stopped talking about their stay. The grounds are beautiful, and they loved the inn. They will definitely...

We stayed over Memorial weekend and had so much fun. Love the beautiful setting and the wonderful historic details in the house. The Allegan location is perfect to explore nearby Saugatuck, Douglas, and Holland. Our host Sheila was friendly and eager to make our stay the best. I would definitely recommend.

My sister, myself and a few friends have stayed at Allegan Country Inn many times. Summer, fall and winter.  Each stay has been wonderful. So relaxing. We rented the anex for quilting and other crafts. The annex was a perfect place for laying out our quilts on the many tables that were available. We had plenty of room for our...

We have stayed at several Bed and Breakfasts in the area, and the Allegan Country Inn is less expensive than the competitors. Depending on the experience you are hoping for, this inn may or may not be a fit for you. The grounds are beautiful, and the location is nice and quiet. When we arrived the weather had turned colder...

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary! We stayed in the Northern Lights room. Shelia was so warm and welcoming we felt right at home. The inn was beautiful and kept it's historic charm! Everything was very clean. Our breakfast was delicious as well! We will definitely be back!

My mom and I went on a short vacation and decided to stay in Allegan for a few days (so we could easily visit nearby places such as Saugatuck, Grand Rapids, and Holland). The Inn is absolutely gorgeous and the property is just as beautiful, with a lovely pond (and paddleboat you can use), bridge, and archway. The Inn has...

Home and grounds well cared-for. Vast lawns, pretty ponds, bridges. Breakfast was good, I loved the homemade jam! Most of all, host was very caring. When the power went off in the night they were there to help us switch to a room that was already cool and comfortable. About 30 minutes drive to the Lake Michigan beach towns (Holland...

Beautiful, clean and charming B & B. This trip from Chicago area to Michigan was for blueberries. We always stay at Allegan Country Inn when we go to SW Michigan. It's great after spending the day in South Haven, Saugatuck or Holland to drive a short distance back to the Inn and have the peaceful surroundings waiting for us. Sheila,...
