Very friendly reception. The room is comfortable and relatively modern Tv and wifi works fine. refrigerator quite useful . Bed comfortable but queen size not king size . Key card had problems . Very handy to the centre . Parking a great bonus in a city where parking is difficult.

We stayed for 1-night at the Hotel Coloso at the beginning of October this year, booked for us by our tour organiser. On arrival we were allocated room 316 on the third floor. It is a reasonable sized room with great views over the city of Potosi. The room was warm and had complimentary water in the bathroom and free...

We were initially impressed with size of room, but when the hot water did not work in the morning, we were very unimpressed. We also had a questionable experience in the restaurant as the person taking the order got our order totally wrong. It was late and we were hungry, so we ate what was brought to our table. Apparently...

My husband and I stayed here 1 night en-route between Uyuni and Sucre. It did the job for the night with a big comfy bed, clean room and hot shower. We also did have a pretty amazing view over Potosi from our room. The hotel was also very well located and from what we saw, was probably the best place...

It was an expensive Hotel even by American standards at 700 bs ($100) for a simple one person room and 880 bs for a 2 person room. It was frustrating because they weren't clear on the price when we asked the night before. Rooms are decently warm and comfortable, Internet connection is bad and breakfast just had some bread, tea/coffee...

We are having one night at this hotel as we travel with OAT. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the hotel nicely located, and relatively quiet. Have not eaten the included brkfst at the time of this writing so cannot comment. Would recommend to fellow travelers.

Stayed here 3 nights in November. Decent place, but nothing too special to write home about. Hotel has 5 stars on their logo and on the door, however I believe this is just part of the name. I'd rank it about 3 to 3.5 based on North American standards. Lobby was nice and large and floors made of solid marble....

Positives: Great front entrance and lobby with reception desk that was nice and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, had nice and firm queen size beds. Room had a heater as did the bathroom (leaked). Windows opened so there was some ventilation and we were able to cool. Good internet. President Evo Morales used this hotel - all guests had...

We knew it wasn't going to be a great experience from all that other reviewers had written but it was even worse than we expected. The room seemed OK with a great view out to the mountains. Little did we know that we'd been located above an all-night Fiesta... At first we thought the loud, thumping noise was coming from...

Considering its a "five star" hotel, this hotel really should consider improving seriously forgoten isssues. The room was excelent, no complaints and the only reason i give it an average (Big, nice view and clean). Apart from that most things are really well below the standard and are probably better in any 3 star hotel. We asked for food from...
