We loved this place! I truly has a home feel about it! But the best thing is the breakfast! Rene put on a really yummy breakfast! Always with fresh fruit, eggs and REAL Orange juice! Is really a relaxing place to stay and chill out!... we ended up staying there almost two weeks! and we miss it already!!!!!!

No, seriously, can't I give 6 stars? This one goes above and beyond expectations. I stayed here for 3 weeks in april and everything was just perfect. To begin with, the staff and the owner, Rene, itself are all very friendly and always helpful. The building is beautiful, with a nice patio and lovely rooms. The common area is nice... More

Owner Rene has created an absolute gem in the heart of beautiful Sucre. Great rooms, great breakfast, friendly service, WiFi, laundry and even a small pool. It's easy to see why people book two nights and stay a week. Easily one of the best places we've stayed in South America, let alone Bolivia. Highly recommended.

We spent three nights here and thought it fantastic value for money. It is quite close to the Town Centre but the road was quiet. There is a lovely courtyard to relax in and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and Rene was a very helpful host. We would certainly stay here again and recommend Casa Verde

We absolutely loved Casa Verde - the backdrop is stunning (Sucre is an amazing place to visit), the rooms are really nicely appointed, the breakfast is delicious and Rene is the mastermind who helped us find out about things around town and where to go, what to do. A really enjoyable place to stay!

Like every other review I can't praise Rene, Louis, Marguerite and staff enough for the 2 fabulous stays I had at Case Verde. First time was for 2 weeks and second time was for 7 weeks in Mar/Apr 2012 when I became part of the furniture. Everything is perfect - I was even fine with the extra kilogram or two... More

The hostel is a great place to relax, the interior patio is sunny and the communal room pleasant. Beds are extremely comfortable as well. For the price, there probably isn't a better place to stay in Sucre, and I would highly recommend it.

We were supposed to stay two nights, but a flight cancellation meant we only got one night here. It's a lovely place. Rene has done a great job of fixing it up and it smells (and is) clean. That might seem like a strange comment, but so many hotels and hostals in this part of the world smell musty, even... More

We stayed here in feb and had a great time. Rene is the owner and went out of his way to ensure our utmost comfort. We stayed in a double room with a private ensuite, the bed was very comfortable and Rene gave us our own room heater for the chilly nights. Our room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was... More

Clean, basic but spacious rooms ideally located just a short walk away from the main plaza. Lovely patio area for relaxing in, decent breakfast and wifi connection. Excellent value for money ! Rene is very helpful - offering to accompany me to the bank to speak to the manager after I spent the good part of a whole day in... More
