We loved this place. The hostel is located a 5 minute walk from the beautiful main plaza of Sucre. It is very cheap and you get a lot for your money. Great kitchen to use and a huge rooftop terrace which is very sociable at night. The owner Mike is a really nice if not a bit crazy! Just don't...

I had the most amazing time staying at Gringo's. Easily one of the best places I've stayed at. A lot of people come here to study Spanish, so there are quite a lot longtimers which creates a very friendly and laid back environment. Great place for solo travelers. Large common areas, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, hot showers. The owner\receptionist\handyman...

One of the best hostels I stayed out during my South American trip. The price is reasonable for backpackers and the owner is very nice. Everything was super clean, and the kitchen was full of ustensils for cooking ! The location is really convenient and the rooftop is amazing to chill ! The showers are really nice and hot. The...

Positive: kitchen fully equipped, nice and sunny rooftop, small hostel with nice and clean dorms, manager very nice and helpful, laundry service available, shops and tourists activities very close (the main plaza is 2 minutes walking from the hostel) Negative: nothing really, except maybe that the laundry is done be the manager and dry outside so it take a bit...

Owner Mike was very friendly and very helpful. Kept the place clean and tidy. Beds were ok, a hollow in the middle of the mattress like most in Bolivia! Good central location close to the main square. Kitchen is small but has all the essentials to cook. The showers were nice and warm. No TV room but a nice roof...

This place is incredible! It's always spotless, and full of very chill friendly people. The kitchen is fully stocked with any possible cookware you could want, and a lot of times there are some free goodies left in the cupboard. Mike is an awesome host, super funny and great to talk to. The place is located really close to the...

As Uyuni was closed as a result of blockades we ended up staying here for 4 nights in 3 different rooms (as we kept checking out in the hope buses were running). This hostel has good beds, hot showers and a nice vibe. The location is perfect, a short walk from everything you need - groceries, restaurants, bars and culture....

An outstandingly clean and happy hostal run by an enthusiastic gentleman who is passionate about what he does and helpful in every way. The hottest most powerful showers in Bolivia, along with lovely warm bedrooms and personalities alike. Friendly conversations with like minded travellers in the day and a peaceful sleep at night. Definitely one of the best hostels we've...

The hostal is in a great location just 2 blocks from the main square. The rooms are only dorms but the hostal is impeccable and a perfect combination of social and laid back atmosphere. Like most people my stay in the Gringos was supposed to be 2 nights but ended up being 4 because of the great vibe. Highly Recommended!!

This is a great hostel in the heart of beautiful Sucre with an excellent host, beautiful terrace and comfortable, clean rooms. We were supposed to only stay 1 night but ended up staying 3! The owner is great fun, keeps you informed about events and keeps the hostel cruisy and comfortable. The location is great, just 3 blocks from Plaza...

“Rooms are color-coded. We stayed in the pink dorm (4-bed), which was great. I think the Blue dorm (8 bed) is next to the terrace and apparently can be a bit noisy if you want an early night (terrace closes at 11pm, so shouldn't be a problem for most)”
