Stayed here for a week to enjoy the city and, at the same time, learn some Spanish! On arrival I was able to sign up for Spanish and chose my preferred time. I took two hours of private lesson per day and had a very patient teacher that helped me further where I got stuck. The hostel was really nice,...

This is THE place to stay in Sucre! It's a beautiful hostel well maintained by friendly staff, with comfortable beds and nice facilities. It's definitely not a party hostel but it is a chill social hostel - a great way to meet fellow travelers while on the road. It's also in a great location - only 3 blocks from the...

I had heard great things about Beehive - but you have no idea how special this place is until you get here. We have been here for 2 weeks and everyone here keeps extending their stay. It is a space that lends itself for connecting with others, sharing, laughing, fun, learning, and great support. The large kitchen is equipped for...

The hostel seems to attract chilled out people and is super nice to relax and meet cool people. Staff are loverly! Breakfast is healthy, filling and delicious. Facilities are always clean :) I always recommend this hostel to people travelling to Sucre. And the sunsets from the kitchen balcony were amazing 😍

Stayed at the beehive for 2 weeks and loved it! It's got a great community of people, and although it's not a party hostel, it's very easy to meet other travelers. They have delicious, big, and healthy breakfasts included. The vibe is great too, there's a lovely garden and and very homely feel. Rooms are spacious and comfy, and the...

Very friendly, GREAT breakfast and helpful staff. BUT I'd book the bus perhaps at the station directly, as you will probably get a discount. We booked El Dorado thru the hostel (B$180 for cama to La Paz), but it was more like semi cama, the toilet was locked, no dinner (0230 stop), and blue cabin lights keep you awake (unlike...

We had been recommended to stay here by a friend we met along the way. We arrived to Sucre on a night bus at 4:30am and had booked in for the same night so we could get straight into bed and sleep in. We got there and no one works at night past certain hours, so they do not cater...

One of the best hostels i stayed at in south america, hands down! Beds comfy, breakfast is so good! People there are generally doing spanish lessons, but i wasnt and still loved it! great communal area, where everyone talks about anything and everything. Showers are bolivian, so dont expect pressure or much heat! Would stay again in a heart beat!

I volunteered here for a month, it's a great little project with the money they make going to a local community centre. Loved my time here, was nice to get away from the party hostels for a while but still stay somewhere with a good social vibe. Some of the reviews mention bad internet, and it's terrible, but the same...

We stayed at The Beehive for 2 nights while we visited Sucre. It is great for backpackers and has a really nice chilled out vibe. It's only a 5 minute walk to the city centre through a really nice quiet part of the city. The staff were great, the wifi was good and the breakfast was fantastic! It has been...
