A really charming setting in a historic structure. kind staff. definitely one of the nicest settings in sucre... if not THE nicest. location is quite good. very close to the main square. the weak wifi was infuriating. the food quite good!

The hotel is a beautifully restored Spanish Colonial building conveniently located in Sucre. The owners took great care with the restoration and it shows. The details such as reclaimed doors and window shutters and the antique furnishings and art work gave the hotel a grand atmosphere. We stayed during the Festival which may explain why it felt as though they...

A great hotel located in a very well preserved colonial building just a block from the main square. Nicely decorated rooms, a lovely inner yard, a huge roof terrace with a stoning view over Sucre, even a mini museum in the cellar. Some things to improve: rid off from the old grandmas appartement smell in the rooms, ensure that there...

This is a beautifully presented hotel , with many open courtyards , everywhere you look there are antiques from the furniture to the wall hangings and beds( very comfy and large). There is a high terrace to enjoy the sunset from where you can also see the cathedral tower and a slightly lower one to enjoy a glass of wine....

This is without a doubt the best hotel in Sucre. From the owners (Luis and Sandra) to all of the staff, everybody is so nice and friendly. Luis gave us a truly wonderful tour of the hotel (the building just goes on and on - there's so many twists and turns and hidden rooms on each level) and he explained...

A warm welcome meets you as soon as you cross the threshold. An exquisite restoration of an historic building but with every modern comfort and friendly service awaits you. Every possible detail has been thought of in terms of decor and comfort. An outstanding hotel in a beautiful city.

Our Suite was situated right above the courtyard, The furnishings were charming and authentic 19th century French reflecting the French influence in Bolivia at that time. The windows opened onto the courtyard and during the night loud banging could be heard ,when I believe the gates were locked and people were trying to get into the hotel. There were several...

The Parador Santa María is a truly elegant hotel in the authentic Spanish colonial style of an historic property. Nicely situated two blocks off the main square, it features about forty rooms all very tastefully individualized with respect to size and furnishings. High, often vaulted, ceilings predominate. From the two rooftop "miradores" there are beautiful views of Sucre and surrounding...

Excellent location and flawless attention to the architectural and decorative details. This makes the little attention paid to traveler's needs all the more disconcerting. A short list of shortcomings: having to wait 15 minutes (by clock) with the water running to get lukewarm water in the shower; no place to hang the hand towels near the sink (the hooks were...

This colonial style hotel has been implacably restored. Service is as friendly and as elegant as it can be. Breakfast is just great with fresh fruit, spread of breads and cakes, strong coffee and omelets to order. Will certainly return and highly recommend this place to friends and family.
