Our evening at the saravilla was spectacular! The bed was comfy, the host was very kind, the view was perfect. Will stay here the next time we are at Alma. This was our 3rd visit, but definitely the best!

There are only two places I can recommend in the Alma area and Saravilla is definitely one of them. My wife and I have stayed there a number of times over the past 9 years, including our wedding. Our most recent visit was our first with the new owners. The Saravilla is still a quiet and comfortable place to stay...

Thank you for your positive review and for pointing out some maintenance issues that need attention--we will insure that these are taken care of immediately and not be regular issues. Yes, the building is vintage but we also take pride in maintaining it well and it appears we missed the mark during your recent visit.

Excellent place to stay, but book early as they are popular. The house is an excellent, old mansion that is well kept up, clean and a delight to stay in. This is our second time we stayed there and will do so again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming B&B. The rooms had unique character and the breakfast was delicious. There were many rooms to explore and complimentary beverages and snacks. It was right around the corner from Alma College.

A beautiful expansive house filled with all sorts of history. I was attending an overnight business trip that used Saravilla for its meeting. Our every need was met by Gerry, the owner. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay and I will have to come back with my husband for a little getaway!

From the moment we arrived, Saravilla was welcoming. The historic home is beautifully restored with special touches everywhere, Gerry is a warm host, and the rooms are so relaxing. Our meeting in the large ballroom met all of our needs, and our evening reception spilled into multiple public rooms easily. A tour of the mansion topped our stay, along with...

Our family (over 30 people) needed a gathering place to rest our heads while we payed homage to our Grand Father, Ted Townsend, who passed away last week. Most of us had never been to Saravilla before, but as soon as we entered, we were mesmerized. I've personally never been in such a lovely abode. It's truly a sight to...

When I first pulled in, I was a bit unsure due to the chilling ambiance of the place. Once I entered the building, though, I was in for a surprise. The interior was beautiful!! During a brief tour, I could feel the history around me and it was almost surreal. The room was amazing and the bed was super comfortable....

Gerry welcomed us like we were old friends & gave us a tour of the beautiful historic mansion. Guests are able to relax & enjoy public rooms on the main floor and meet other guests. Rolando prepared a 5 star breakfast! Loved it! Look forward to going back in the future!
