My mom and I are both librarians, so staying at The Library B&B while in Ann Arbor for a college visit with my daughter was a fun idea. The location is great! We walked to Pallio for a delicious dinner, and then the next day we were in perfect position for our campus tour. The owner's book collections and UM...

My 17-year-old daughter and I stayed at this cozy bed and breakfast near campus and had a pleasant experience. The owner, Joan, is a kind woman who made her home into a cozy set of rooms with books of all sorts and interesting pictures and art. Looking over the walls of my comfortable room, I found this gem: "When I...

The home has character, and Joan, the hostess, is a character! A performance pianist, sports aficionado, pilot--and of course, book hound--Joan is informative and fun. And the home is called the Library for good reason. Classic books, in full sets, by the hundreds. One could start reading and never leave the front door for years. But you should get out...

I stayed with my lovely hostess Joan for one of the many Art Exhibits in Ann Arbor. Even by the time I arrived I felt like I knew her from our phone conversations! No one could have been more accommodating than she! I had hurt my back and I was worried about the walk, though it really was a short...

I booked this because it was our first stop on our road trip to Iowa. We had not been to Ann Arbor before and I was reading about the B&Bs. The reviews for The Library Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint! Joan was a wonderful host! If you love visiting libraries or have an interest in books, this is the...

If you wish to be near campus, this is the place. Joan fixes you a great breakfast at whatever time you like. You're at the intersection of Division and Packard, so walking to the football stadium, basketball arena, or central campus is just a few blocks. The house is filled with books and Michigan memorabilia and Joan knows personally many...

The Library B&B is within walking distance to many of Ann Arbor's attractions and is conveniently located on the UofM campus. The owner is an amazing woman who is extremely knowledgeable about the University, Ann Arbor and the state of Michigan. She is also very generous and as noted elsewhere, an excellent cook. Upon arrival, she gave me a complete...

I highly recommend The Library B&B. Joan, the owner, is a hoot! The place is a little small but comfy. Jam-packed with memorabilia, and a story behind each item My daughter has some odd food allergies, but Joan accommodated us with no problem. Clean and comfy. Great location, too, if you need to get to UM's campus. Loved it!

The Library is an extraordinary B&B with the best location on campus. Joan is what makes the place truly special. Her collection of historical books and uniquely themed rooms provide a cozy museum-like atmosphere. Joan is also an excellent cook and storyteller with extensive knowledge of U of M and Ann Arbor. For the location, value, and hospitality this is...

A great, great bed and breakfast. Ideally located near the intersection of Hill Street and Packard within easy walking distance of the central campus. Joan prepares you a terrific breakfast at the time of your chosing. The sleeping quarters are very well appointed and immaculately clean. Joan does have a lot of her collected items in them, but they do...
