We have stayed here 2 times in the last three years and have enjoyed it very much. The rooms have been updated, the bed is very comfortable, a microwave and small refrigerator is in the room, and there is plenty of dresser space and counter space for everything you need. The owners are very helpful. Will definitely be staying here...

Back in Aitkin for a family reunion. We usually stay at another place but the only place open was the Ripple River. Had a couple of other family members book here and we were all very happy with the staff & accommodations I had a room with 2 beds in one area and a separate bedroom with another bed. We...

They have updated some of the furniture in the extended stay area. They do have pet rooms. I don't care for pet hair and my wife is allergic. The room we stay in doesn't have pets. I'm not sure how clean those rooms are. The room we stayed in had newer chairs and table and the bathroom had been updated...

Stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2015. When I made reservations on the phone I was given the cost of my stay. When we arrived at 2p.m. I had to call for a desk clerk. I was greeted by a very unprofessional, rude, and dirty looking female. The room was very run down. Burn holes in the blanket. Dingy/yellowed linen...

As we pulled in our 43 foot 5th wheel, we were a little apprehensive about a place that just had about 15 spots in their campground. Jannice from the front desk was wonderful. She guided us to our spot and helped us pull in. It was a Great Spot in the shade of the tree next to the Ripple River....

Stayed in the motel portion of this place. It was clean, except for the dog hair (I hope) on the recliner in my room. Looked like a "lodge" but walls are paper thin. Bed was not the best. Thankful that my "neighbors" were senior citizens... After their game of Yahtzee which I could clearly hear every roll of the dice...

This is our second stay at this place since we spent our honeymoon there 40 years ago. We stayed in one of the extended stay rooms. It was nice. While under the new owner seems like it is taking them a while to figure stuff out. Like emptying the trash cans and such. I will be staying there again in...

We stayed here when my husband had to travel here for an evening meeting. I didn't know what to expect when I located this motel using my Garmin GPS, but my expectations were not high. I was pleasantly surprised to discover just how nice it was. When you ask for a non smoking room in most motels, you can still...

August 2014 was our second visit to the Ripple River Motel. Our room on the second floor (outdoor stairs only) was quiet and comfortable. The plantings are very attractive and well maintained, and the location really is right on the Ripple River, a pretty spot..Everything worked. About the only complaint we had was that the new "green" lightbulbs in the...

Stayed here as part of our Big 2014 Road Trip. Exterior looked very inviting, and the rooms even more so. Very friendly and accommodating staff. On-site pizza and ice cream were very good. Not a low-cost place, but not horrifyingly expensive, either. And they're supporter of long-distance bicycle touring as well.
