The Owner was wonderfully helpful. The room was spotless, comfortable and large, seperate kitchen and sitting area, powerful shower, nice large balconly, you couldn't ask for anything better. The locations is great, and something they do not make enouigh of, the private swimking area. It is a 10 minute walk, but we had the area to ourselves, beautiful place to sit in the sun, and perfect to dive and swim. Toilet and shower there as well. Really lovely place to spend the afternoon relaxing, or taking your lunch to eat

We stayed in this hotel, it's a good value option in a beautiful town on the lake. The staff (Silvia and Renate) were extremely kind and helpful and we would be happy to return there again next summer or winter. The town is also lively enough to stay for a few days with music and dance in the square every night in the summer

On our trip to Hallstatt, we went to Bad Ischl and stayed there 2 nights. Bad Ischl is a pretty little destination with a stream and plenty of restaurants and shops for a visit. The Therme was also an interesting place to spend a few hours. We took a bus from the bus terminal (next to the train station) to St Wolfgang half an hour away. St Wolfgang is a beautiful town with very refreshing structures/houses to view and provides a relaxing walk along the shores. It is magnificently beautiful and peaceful. We also took a lake cruise and saw St Wolfgang from the water. The cruise took us to St Gilgan which is a strikingly serene and beautiful town. It is just enjoyable taking walks and taking it slow and leisurely. We had such a relaxing and peaceful time to enjoy the various beautiful water, parks and buildings and for virtually free. The sceneries are engraved in our memories forever. In all, a memorable day trip.

We caught the 150 bus from the mirabelle gardens to st gilgen very busy the three of us where the first in the queue only us allowed on, standing room only, bus leaves from bus terminal adjacent to rail station, better to go from there. Book your return ticket on first bus , change busses at Strobol (not at st Gilgen as we where told), only a short journey into st Wolfgang from here.Bus trip good views fantastic St Wolfgang 2nd visit went 4 years ago on a tour more time to explore if you go solo worth the effort to do it yourself. Return trip hassle free. Great day.

This is one of those place you go to escape, breath and relax. We went to this quaint village only for a couple hours but I would go back in a heartbeat. Wandering through there’s a still in the air that slows you down. We enjoyed one of the most beautiful lake cruises ever. The water is so crystal clear that the reflections of the Alps and lakeside homes is spectacular. Our lake tour included a taped message of the area we were cruising by. I learned so much about the small little things that otherwise would go unnoticed. A tiny island with a cross in the middle of the lake that memorializes a farmer who swam out to rescue he’s stranded cow. Not sure how they got back.....
