Basic b&b just a few minutes walk from the main square. Simple rooms with a/c and bathroom and even English CNN. Decent firm bed. Very small bathroom (not convinced we had hot water).

Basic breakfast with make your own coffee and only scrambled egg as hot food (not even a toaster). Nice on-site pool which is perfect after arriving in Santa Cruz’s muggy heat.

The location of this hotel is good and the staff were very friendly but the breakfast was pretty rank (and to be fair I can eat almost anything) the rooms are carpeted which is VERY unpleasant for a city that's 35 degrees as standard. The carpets are OLD, and feel like they are unclean because of that. The swimming pool is nice in theory, but the loungers are broken (I got my bumcheek stuck in one of the broken slats!!) and there was old skanky bits of toilet roll floating in the water too - not just one day, three days in a row, even after the pool had been 'cleaned'!!!! I also had an electric shock from the shower (kind of standard in Bolivia) but I would not recommend this place - stay in Rio Magdalena if you want a place with a pool, theirs is useable and they have a much nicer breakfast.

I was faintly amused by this place but there is no way i would ever stay here again!

The hotel is in a nice position, only a few blocks from the central Plaza 24 de Septiembre. The reception looks promising, but the rest of the hotel is disappointing.
Our room was quite dirty, the sheets had many spot and we prefer to sleep in our sleeping bag. The carpet also need a good vacuum. Breakfast was ok.
There is a swimming pool, but it was closed when we were there since it was raining very hard.

I spent four nights at this Hotel in May of this year.I was not disappointed. This is a lovely place to stay. The location is perfect-a short walk to the main plaza Plaza 24 Septiembre and the Basilica....The room was adequate in size and was serviced daily...Thanks to Sonia for that....Breakfast was very good and for this I have to thank Elizabeth and Juana in the dining room....The staff at reception were most helpful-Augusto,Miguel,Jose Carlos and Carmen....This is a very welcoming place....English is spoken by several staff members and the guests are truly valued....This is a top class place to stay in Santa Cruz and is definitely worth a return visit...10 out of 10.

Really basic hotel but we were attracted by the pool as it is quite warm during the day.
I didn’t feel particularly safe in the area after dark and took Ubers when going out. It was noisy until well after midnight and I could hear the neighbouring rooms walking around and going to the toilet! Didn’t sleep well as someone kept trying to come into our room. Probably not the hotel’s fault as it sounded like a drunk guest. It is close to the cathedral though and the staff were very pleasant.

Great hotel.

The man at the reception was very motivated and helpful (actually in Bolivia there are some blockades in big cities). We got hints for open supermarkets and he drove us also by motorbike to the airport.

Good rooms, nice pool area.

The hotel is small and cheap. The bathroom has a cold water tap and a device for possibly heating it. The lobby and computer area are adequate, but the rooms are quite small and not appealing. The breakfast is simple.
Easy walk to the center of the city. Small staff.

I stayed here for 2 nights, it was horrible!! Got there, the reception is nice, but the room I stayed was humid and smelly. I turned the a/c on and it was broken. After a couple of hours there the room was infested with ants!! I called to reception to asked to be moved to another room, I was told that they couldn't!! I was supposed to tell them before I was in the room!! REALLY!!!
I made a big stink about it, and they finally changed my room. Had no luck with the new room either. I was bitten by Mosquitos!!
At check out I asked if there would be a discount for the inconvenience and they basically laughed in my face.
If you are looking at this hotel, DO NOT!!! Stay here. This should be a one star hotel!!! Horrible service!!!!
