A very beautiful place; for all ages. The entry fee is high priced but worth it, a tour to get know the whole park is included. I will recommend to everybody who's going to Santa Cruz. I want to go back as soon as possible with my whole family.

Most of the people who attended us were either tired, annoyed or rude. One was blaming us for not bringing the Migration green paper with our passports, even though I called them twice to find out specifically what were we supposed to bring and if a photo ID was enough? And they NEVER mentioned the green Migration paper! They basically...

Very nice resort. We loved the surroundings and the park with the butterflies and the parrots, ape and some other animals. They have a number of pools and a lot of things to do. Unfortunately the water was freezing as we where there in winter (July). The rustic cabin was ok, but I found the 2900 Bs per night (after...

We've visited Guembe a handful of times over the last 8 years. It makes for a nice retreat from the city. One of these visits I hope that we make it for the right time of year for all the Orchids to be in bloom! The butterfly dome and bird dome are always a nice treat. Each time we've gone...

Biocentro is a beautiful, restful location only about 15 kilometros outside of Santa Cruz. It is a very well maintained park like atmosphere. There are multiple residences from 2 to people. Some are individual cabins, others are rooms attached to a hotel setting. We stayed in a suite - #200. A king bed upstairs with toilet and sink and flat...

Aesthetically, what a beautiful resort. But the clear pools, placed within beautifully landscaped flora, are not enough to save what was once, perhaps, a top notch resort. While there is certainly enough to do--with the nice walking tour, the aviary, the butterfly exhibit, kayaking, and the 12+ swimming pools (albeit, some of these pools are less than 100 sq/ft)--the service...

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Biocentro. It is really pricey for Bolivia, but it was so cool that it was worth it. The aviary was the highlight for us -- tons of beautiful, colorful tropical birds that were very curious. At one point, a toucan flew over to a tree next to us and posed for photos...

This is a really lovely and peaceful place to stay a few nights. Beautiful garden and pools to relax by during the day. They have an excellent bird enclosure that is so big you can stand on the top and see views of Bolivia. The rooms here were very nice and private. The food isn't the greatest but sure isn't...

Its lovely here for the day. They really should sort the food out though and think about the service side of things. Both let the place down badly. Also, not sure that deafening party music and eco resort make a good mix. Visit during the week if you want a more relaxing visit

Its a lovely setting, maybe 20 minutes from the city, however the taxi ride was less than $10USD to get to town. The weird part is that you give you a wrist band (a bit like going to Wallyworld!) Upon check in and then say that even though we are going to be here for a week and use this...
