The hotel Chairu is located about 20 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz in the direction of the airport. It is a great solution if you return to the city after a tour of the surrounding areas (eg: mission tour) and have a flight the next morning. The hotel is located in a quiet street. It is new, with large rooms and very comfortable beds. Definitely recommended.

If you don't need quick airport access and can take the 20 min ride to be in downtown Santa Cruz, this is a great option. We stayed here twice. We had excellent hospitality on check in and our room was clean and spacious. We always checked out before breakfast so I can't comment on that. But the price was reasonable for a great place.
The location is convenient to walk to tons of restaurants. We walked a few blocked once and had a ton of options. And the other time we just popped into the pizza/Italian place next door (it was great).

Very good hotel, in nice neigbourhood, with shops and restaurants nearby. You can even walk to the center (40 minutes). Nice, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast with nice selection of fresh fruits and different fresh juices. Staff at the reception was very helpful, professional and friendly, especially Francisco. Only downside was noise from the entrance and hallway during the night because lot of guests comes during the night as flights are scheduled that way.

Spent 3 short stays here in between wildlife watching tours. This is a comfortable, clean hotel in a nice neighbourhood close to Av San Martin. The room was of a good size with a comfortable bed and air con. The satff were friendly and very helpful. A good buffet breakfast was served each morning. Communal areas were light and airy and as with everywhere else, immaculately clean.

My husband and I were delighted with the Chairú Eco Hotel. The accommodations are very comfortable, the service is impeccable and it is in an excellent location. The value for money is great and it has a good breakfast. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Nice hotel, quiet and comfortable. Good service although breakfast could improve in terms of variety. Unfortunately the smoke from the chaqueos was unbearable. But close to several restaurants makes it nice.

Hotel Chairu is located near the Santa Cruz Marriott and close to the Hospital Martin Dockweiler. The hotel offers 41 rooms over 5 floors and has a small café & street-side terrace and a top-floor restaurant. At walking distance, you have a choice of restaurants. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Our spacious room was nicely furnished & decorated, with desk & chair, large TV, airco, open wardrobe with fridge & safe, comfy-chair, and a good queen-size bed. We had a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin and spacious shower. The window opens and has a mosquito screen. All was very clean.
The buffet breakfast is modest: pastries & cakes, bread & toast, ham & cheese, scrambled eggs, butter & marmalade, fruit & juice, tea & coffee. We found Hotel Chairu comfortable & pleasant, and we had a good stay. Highly recommended.
