I have been visiting Los Tajibos for several years and the hotel continues to improve, and never disappoints. The hotel has spent quite a bit of time improving the look of the hotel and rooms. WiFi has improved immensely over the spotty service they had a few years ago. However, it is the hotel personnel with their attention to detail which make Los Tajibos so enjoyable. My suitcase broke at 2200 on my last night so Reception immediately sent someone with tools who was able to fix the zipper, to my great relief, very quickly. My only slight complaint was the quite overcrowded pool area on the Sunday afternoon. I suspect that non-hotel guests are allowed in. The pool area itself is wonderful.

This must be one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I have traveled the world several times. We had a poolside room 108 and was great with its own little balcony, we had a turtle pass one morning and a Peacock another and 10 steps and you were in the pool, which was amazing lovely and warm, and would be wonderful for kids with all the different levels, it was cleaned every morning also. The Terrace restaurant was really good catering for every diet and allergy you just had to ask and it was done, the Spa was also very good. The best part of the hotel has to be the staff, they could not do enough to help and assist you, the Spa staff, the room cleaner, the reception staff, poolside staff, and most of all the Terrace Restaurant staff, to many of them to mention all their names but each one really had a passion for their jobs and were so friendly and helpful, well done.

I’ve been staying in Los Tajibos for a few years now, and never disappoints...!

Always the staff makes you feel welcome (Alcides at the entrance, PatriciaB with her team shows such professionalism and attention to details, just to name a few) and like you are at home... Piegari and Jardin de Asia excellent places to dine and have a great time in a business meeting or relaxing with friends...

Recommended 10000%!

I must say I'm extremely disappointed with this hotel. Room service takes forever, in-house restaurant delivery don't even comply with simple special requests like sending mustard (it happened more than once), the hotel staff has NO idea of what being VEGAN means! Incredible that a so called 5 star hotel has no idea of dietary restrictions. I'm lactose intolerant which was communicated more than once but for some reason they keep sending cream, cheese, yogurt, and butter for breakfast (which is not vegan either, of course). TERRIBLE experience, no one gets accountable for such flaws and reception doesn't get back after calling and asking them to resolve it.

I am on a 14-day mandatory covid19 quarantine at Los Tajibos. We are not allowed to leave our rooms for this reason. The staff brings us breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Most of the food was good but some of it I had a hard time eating. Sometimes the meat was so hard that I could not even tear a bite off. I tried cutting the meat with my plastic cutlery and my fork and knife both broke. The people who deliver the meal are very friendly and always have a smile on their face. I cannot give a full review as I cannot leave my room and have not seen any of the hotel at all. The room is nice and clean and ithas free wifi. I teach online and the connection was a bit shaky but worked well overall for video chat. Yesterday I ordered some personal items from the pharmacy and had them delivered to the hotel. (No outside food or drink is allowed by the way but the pharmacy can deliver here). When my pharmacy order came, the man at the front desk called me and yelled at me! He said that my order was delivered and that he saw potato chips in my bag. (I got a small pack of crackers for my plane trip home). He was so mean! He said that no outside food or drink is allowed and that he should confiscate the potato chips but that this time he would allow it but not again. This man stretched the bag open at the top and looked through what i bought and then yelled at me. They don't even sell crackers at this hotel. Not to mention, I have purchased food from them this whole time to stock my little fridge. I was so disappointed that he acted like that. Now i don't feel like buying anything at all from them.

This was a stunning resort hotel in the middle of Santa Cruz, Bolivia's second international airport in the sub-tropical South East. Sadly we arrived early evening for an early start the next day so had too little time to enjoy the excellent facilities. The pool area looked very enticing and the public areas were large and spacious. In spite of our 5.30 am departure the hotel kindly provided takeaway breakfast snack. We had an inexpensive dinner in the large informal restaurant. I hope to return some day for a slightly longer stay and an opportunity to see more of Santa Cruz.

Last night we were left waiting for over an hour in the lobby while the front desk tried to sort out a “lost” reservation. I had my 3 kids, including my 4 month infant. Management was not helpful even though I had my email confirmation of my reservation. Hotel staff asked to see proof of payment on my credit card, which I provided, and then they said the only solution was to charge me twice until they could sort out the missing reservation on their end. It had been almost an hour waiting in the lobby at that point so I told them it was fine to charge me again while they sort it out. I looked at my receipt and it was 2x the amount it should have been, so was I was charged 3x! I asked them to refund me the new charges and we left at 1am to go to a different hotel. I’m still left with dealing with Priceline for the first set of charges. Management was NOT helpful and if this is the hospitality they show at check in then we are not interested in ever staying here again. We’ve stayed at Marriott down the road a dozen times with no issues.

Booked a room for 4 nights with Club Lounge access.
This Club Lounge is a terrible JOKE.
2 chairs, maybe 20 tiny sandwiches and same amount of cookies wrapped in plastic.
water and some kind of juice.
And hot water.
All this until it last. No refills, nothing being cleaned during the day.
If you check in in afternoon or evening : you are OUT OF LUCK : all gone.
Yes you pay extra for Club Lounge access. What a JOKE
I feel actually offended by hotel, charging me for Club Lounge access.

In room, for 2, is 1 tiny little water bottle. Not replenished , 2 people get 1 tiny little water bottle for 4 days.
Had to go to grocery store to buy water.
This is a 5 star hotel ??? No way.

Thank you very much for taking the time to let us know about your stay, we are deeply sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We have forwarded your feedback to the food and beverage leadership team to implement and revise the necessary guidelines to prevent this from happening again in the future. Regarding the bottles of water in the room, we place the courtesy bottle in the bathroom at check-in, and if you require more you can request it by calling the front desk. in addition to having the minibar in the room available with more products. If you decide to stay with us again, do not hesitate to contact me, I will personally take care of your stay. Once again, thank you very much for your comments, they help us to improve the quality of the service we offer. Best regards,

Stayed here for two nights en transit to a jungle trip. There is nothing here that doesn’t tick most folks idea of what to expect at a 4+ star international hotel. It is large so can take some time to get to rooms but staff are more than ready to help with luggage. There is a good vibe from well heeled locals who like to frequent the facilities, especially for events like weddings etc. So that’s a positive if you care for not being in a sterile business hotel. Food is good and waiters patient and happy to accommodate on splitting bills etc. But service can be a little slow but good value overall. Stayed at Camino Real a few years ago and it seemed a touch more exclusive and business orientated, but lacked that local vibe.

Stayed here two nights on a fishing trip to the Amazon. Lovely staff at check. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Second night early check was a breeze and lunch and dinner was very good. On departure my diver was running late and they hotel made sure I got a ride to Airport without delay and hassle free. Grounds are nice and love the peacocks. Happening hotel with meetings all over the place. Huge facility out back for weddings and conventions. Even condos part of the hotel. Great place.
