Hotel is small and very cheap. We payed about 11 USD for a double room with shared facilities. In the same time it was a very satisfactory accommodation for such price. We had a spacious room with simple wooden furniture, comfortable wooden beds. There was a TV in the room. Walls in the room as well as in common areas were clean, looked as freshly painted. So I had an impression that hotel was new or just aftter renovation. We could use a wi-fi. Breakfast was not included in room rates. Toilet and showers were outside, in the corridor, not far from our room. There was also a wash basin in a corridor. The location however is not the best, it`s about 20 minutes walking distance from the main square. One of city`s attractions, so called Avion Pirata is located nearby. The main advantage of this hotel: cheap price and cleanness.

This is a basic guesthouse. Seems, it`s a new accommodation and is simple but clean. I stayed in a twin room with shared bathrooms in the corridor. The room was also simply furnished and furniture was new and clean. There was TV in the room, linen and towels were provided. The window was opened into the corridor. Breakfast was not provided, however leaving for the airport at 6 am I would hardly had time for breakfast. The area where residencial is located is not clean, it`s close to a large market. However distance to town centre is not great, about 15 minutes walk to main plaza. A remarkable landmark, Avion Pirata is almost in front of the residencial. The cheap price is an hotel`s unquestionable advantage. For me short one night stay here was quite good.

The lady at the front desk during the day does her best with her English and always has smile. She is always willing to help
Rooms are simple and comfy and very clean. If you don't pay extra for air con the little wall fan might not be enough.. In January the room was extremely warm! But livable. WiFi is Bolivian standard works extremely well when it wants to... And sleeps when too many people connect

In a good location beside a huge supermarket, next to a pharma and many cheap local eateries. 10-15min walk from higher end restaurants so pretty close :)

On booking.com etc it sounds like this place is a guest house, and the pictures make it look like that too. When we turnt up we were extremely disappointed with the first impression, the hostel was on a busy street above shops. The people at reception were extremely surprised to see us even though we booked on booking.com about 3 days before. They said that our room wasn't ready for us so they said we could use a twin for an hour whilst they finished making our room. We came back 5 hours later and our room still wasn't ready. We finally got in our room at about 6pm, the bathroom wasn't working (we had to turn a random tap if we wanted to use it and then it was extremely noisy) therefore we had to use the shared bathroom which was disgusting! And we still had to pay for a room with a private bathroom. The wifi didn't work, the tv was extremely old and so tiny you couldn't see the screen, the bed linen was old and stank. We all got bitten by bed bugs. The hostel was noisy with the kid in the family playing football in the corridors. There were windows between each adjacent room, one didn't have glass or curtains so the light shone through and we could hear the couple in their room. The other side was just covered in newspaper pages. The location of the hostel is awful, we had an early flight and when we left in the morning the area didn't seem very safe. And was miles away from anywhere worth visiting. One member of our group left something at the hostel and contacted them several times to arrange to get it back. Though we had no reply. Would never ever recommend this place. It put a downside on our time in bolivia

We arrived around 4 in the morning, and by 7 they let us in our room.
The cheapest price for a decent private room we've had in 5 cities/villages.
Hot shower.
Good wifi.
Staff were helpful about transportations and infos.
A block away from a supermarket.
Two away from a mercado.
A pretty good grill restaurant a block away, on the left side when leaving the hostel.
Safe neighborhood.

This might not be a good place if you're looking to meet people.

We stayed here before we left for samaipata. We really liked this place. It was cheap, very fast internet too. The hostel staff accomodated our request to extend our stay and provide us with hot water for our tea. The hostel was near the market and many places to eat. This place is booked most of the time and even for longer stays, its worth it.

Stayed here for 1 night with my girlfriend before travelling to Sucre. It is a great value for money and the lady at the reception is very friendly! The location is near a busy street (don't hear this at night) and a crowded market, but you get to the center in 10 minutes walking. Would recommend this for every budget traveller.

Clean, roof fan, friendly staff, easy to access, by the market and with strong WiFi. The place has obviously underwent serious repairs in the last months and is now a choice budget option for backpackers in Santa cruz.

To find the hostel, simply go to the parque de avion pirata and its just across the street. Also close are stores, markets and even an actual grocery store, a rarity in Bolivia.

I wrote this review after 5 weeks in Bolivia.
