Stayed here for one night on a tour. Obviously built in the 1980's the lobby looks nice but once behind the scenes the rooms are a disgrace.

I doubt any maintainance has been done since it was built. The shower did not drain and flooded the bathroom, the room shows signs of water damage. Room was grubby looking and there were pen scribbles on wall.

Our group was told that the hotel would be expecting us... on arrival there was confusion and no rooms allocated reception scrambled to find the reservation and allocate rooms from the housekeeping sheet. Very unprofessional and staff disinterested.

Also a member of our party had a backpack stolen from reception as we were checking in.

Avoid if you can.

A multi-floored hotel with spacious rooms. Air conditioning worked, but noisy. Hot water was off-and-on. Breakfast was good with a variety of fruits, breads and eggs available. Hotel is dated and in need of upgrading. Although fairly central it is located in a less-desirable part of town. Had a fine view of a tattoo parlour, sex shop and parking lot from our hotel room window. Internet worked, but a little spotty.

Stayed here as part of our GAP tour. Liked the fact that it had free Internet access in the lobby for guests although limited to half an hour. Unfortunately the elevator was not working when we arrived which did not help as we were up on the 4th floor. No porters helped us with our luggage. The rooms were decorated in 70s decor and had a slightly musty smell to them. There were some suspicious-looking stains on the bathroom walls and the bedding looked like it had not been changed in a while. Wifi did not work upstairs. Shower pressure was poor and it was hard to adjust the water to the right temperature. Air conditioning did not work properly. Only redeeming features are the free Internet and good location. Avoid this place if you want to live comfortably.

I booked this on the internet because I was arriving late at night. They arranged to send a taxi for me, told me how much it should cost, exactly, and were welcoming and helpful when I arrived. They helped with information and booking a later taxi. My room was lovely and the breakfast was good too.

Stay there - it is good value. You will be able to get cheaper places but I was not able to find cheaper places on the web. It was good value in the end.

Look this place is OK. Fairly central location with a reasonable breakfast. The staff do not speak English and the rooms are brown and "tired", but as a group hotel it was absolutely fine for a night. Nothing else to report really, except check your shower before when you check in. Ours did not work and we had to swop rooms. No big deal, just saying...

Stayed here one night and that really was enough. Triple room felt like a sauna and the decor is in need of an upgrade. Reception is the nicest bit of hotel. Breakfast was included but didn't look or taste fresh. Unfortunately wouldn't stay here again.

I'm not a huge fan of Santa Cruz de la Sierra itself but this hotel was nice. My room was clean and comfortable and had a nice selection of complimentary toiletries etc. There was an in room safe, fridge stocked with usual minibar goodies and wifi is good throughout the hotel.

The bathroom was dated but adequate and the shower was hot and powerful but I found it a bit strange that there was an internal window in my bathroom - I looked like it faced into another room, it was frosted and I never actually saw anyone through it but I covered it with a towel when I was in the bathroom just in case.

Our breakfast was included and there was a good selection of bread, cheese, fresh fruit, cereals etc.

The hotel is a ten minute stroll from the main town square where the shops, bars and restaurants are.

I won't be visiting Santa Cruz de la Sierra again if I can help it but if you have to go there this hotel is a good place to stay.

Stayed here for 1 night with G Adventures. First impression was good- great location, nice lobby. Our room was alright, not massive but it was clean. The bathroom was very outdated and could do with a facelift! I thought the shower would fall apart when I used it!! Staff were very nice in the hotel and breakfast was fairly decent too. The wifi worked ok in the lobby but not in the rooms. Location is central and very handy. Overall, whilst this is not a 4 star hotel by European standards, it has good points and was grand for us! I know it's different if you're booking it yourself though!

to stay in Santa Cruz. Its like a 1960's style room. I had plenty of hot water and cold ac so was ok. No windows and wifi is very spotty. They did have cable TV. My advise is look around for better, it probably exists .

Accommodations were Spartan. Hotel and room were not updated. Looks run down, dumpy. A/C in the room was not powerful enough for the room, so it was hot! We stayed there 2 nights, from July 13-15, 2016. There was no internet signal in our room supposedly because of the room's location, they said would check and change our room, but guess what, it never happened! The breakfast was included, was ok, but not very good, not enough choices and not good presentation. Definitely would NOT recommend the place.
