I doubt we can have better experience then this. Right from booking stage, guiding us through sudden change in schedule due to visa delay and finally ground staff, as we reach Kasane. Everything was professionally handled. Pickup from Livingstone, pickup of 1 group member from Kasane airport everything was on time. During boating, photo mentor was really advising us well... More

Truly unlike any other travel experience and thoroughly recommended. A few days on the magnificent Chobe river give you a real feeling for the people, wildlife and environment – I think I even began to understand the geography, so many countries meeting in this area. Life onboard was comfortable, fun and tasty – fellow guests and hosts were all equally... More

We spent 3 days on the Pangolin Voyageur...what a great time we had. The houseboat is comfortable and Captain Martin and his staff make us feel at home. Melodie cooked up some great meals and Nicholas was our amazing guide on the river. We booked the Pangolin because of the four seater photo boats whose chairs were fitted with camera... More

I was very excited when I learned about the Pangolin Houseboat. What a wonderful opportunity, to sit in the African bush, watching the elephants drink and the sable wonder by, as you sip a G'nT. The opportunity to sample the best of Chobe, with no rush to move on as the sun lowers and sinks below the trees, was one... More

I stayed on the houseboat for 2 nights with family, the rooms were totally reasonable and adequate for a house boat, the water was filtered from the river and was slightly discoloured but perfectly fine for showering with. The showers where hot if you waiting till around 10am to shower. Fabian our guide was great and was very knowledgable about... More

We had booked this for three days and it became one of my absolutely favourite experiences. The staff was friendly and highly commited. The facilities were incredible for African respects. The cuisine was amazing and I had never seen so many animals in three days before. e,g. we saw a leopard for over 30 minutes and 8 lions sleeping on... More

We were lucky enough to spend 4 nights on this houseboat with Guts for the Advanced Photography course. From the accommodation, to the food, to the support staff, to the other guests, to the wildlife - it was an excellent experience. My husband is the photographer, I'm just the lens carrier, but I totally enjoyed it as well. My husband... More

The houseboat has all necessary facilities. Plenty of electrical sockets to charge camera batteries and other equipment. The showers were hot and beds very comfortable. Morning and afternoon trips along the river were by 4 seater boats fully equipped with custom built rotating chairs with camera mounts. The camera mounts are able to rotate 360 degrees. Fabian and Nicholas knew... More

A fabulous way to see and photograph the wildlife, from the houseboat and the day trips on smaller boats. Food on the boat was tasty, beds comfortable, showers hot, service helpful. The rental cameras are fabulous, and Guts' instruction helped the novices. Sam in reservations did a great job organizing a multiple-stop trip.
