This lodge is a fantastic quiet and private alternative to the busy Chobe lodges. The drive into the park is not long, with animal sightings possible along the way. Game viewing at the private waterhole onsite was amazing, as it was still the dry season. One evening during dinner, we were having our usual conversation at the table, enjoying the...

Best place to stay in Botswana! Best value for money! Best food, best location! I can’t find anything to complain about. It feels (and is) incredibly remote — no noise / light pollution or even any buildings visible when entering from either the short drive from Kasane airport or the Kazungula border! It’s a tastefully built and newly renovated camp...

This lodge makes a great first impression. The reception area is lovely, the infinity pool inviting and the watering hole that attracts all different species of animals is unique. Our guide, Simon really knew the area and the flora and fauna. We all enjoyed learning from Simon. Driving to the park takes quite a bit of time, as the lodge...

I have done a lot of travelling over the years but this was the best holiday I've ever had! My husband and I had only two full days and nights here but we feel "changed" by our experience. We were picked up at the border and whisked straight off on an awesome river cruise where we saw heaps of wildlife...

Best 2 nights ever. Watched elephant and Buffalo from the deck then had to watch as a Hyena chased and killed buffalo. It was a bit confronting but an experience we would not have missed. It was Africa as most people would never see. Next morning about 100 vultures came down to feed on the carcase. Last morning we took...

This was the last place we stayed on a 17 day tour of Southern Africa and they saved the best place for last. The accommodations were excellent for rural Africa and they had all the modern conveniences from a floor fan to tiled bath with double sinks and plenty of hot water and two swimming pools. The staff was excellent,...

My wife and I thought that we'd died and gone to heaven!! This place was amazing. You have to picture the scene. We were sitting on the deck in the evening, by the water hole, sipping ice cold beverages watching a number of animals come down to drink. (elephant, giraffe, impala and many more) This was followed by a sumptuous...

Chobe NP lived up to its reputation - and this is a wonderful base to see it from. It was a 30 minute drive to the park entrance. There is a lot of safari traffic in chobe, so don't expect to feel isolated but the experience was still fabulous. The elephant valley lodge is set by a water hole visited...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are situated in the Lesoma Valley (corridor between Chobe National Park and Wangi National Park). All year round waterhole in front of lodge that has daily visitations of all game including BIG 4. We are far enough away from villages and towns to enjoy the natural sounds of the bush (lions roaring, hyenas calling and elephants trumpeting). We have 24 hour electrical power, with fans and electric blankets (winter only) plus the whole property is secured by a perimeter electrical fence to keep out dangerous animals. We are 30 minutes from an International Airport (Kasane)and 30 minutes from a Medical Center. ... more   less
