Firstly I can't speak highly enough of the staff here, both the owner and his employees are really lovely. The hotel itself though left a bit to be desired. You can see when I first opened it must have looked great, but little attention has been paid to general maintenance and upkeep. Just a lick of paint here and there...

This is by no means a "4 star luxury boutique hotel" as claimed in their website. It is 3 rooms above a bar in a very very loud location. The tranquil looking terraces are also misleading. I booked the suite with terrace as a treat as I was spending new years eve in Siem Reap, but it was very disappointing....

very disappointed as the pictures depicted on the website- is sorry to say- not a true reflection on what the place looked like. noisy (but this is fine as we had been warned by the owner) and also pretty much a gay friendly hotel - which was unfortunately not highlighted by the owner during our correspondence beforehand. breakfast was ok...

We found ourselves in Siem Reap for the Khmer New Year celebration which lasts for three days and includes being sprayed by water guns and dusted with baby powder along with lots of dancing...Hotel Be was definitely in the middle of the action. Martin, the owner, was very welcoming, attentive, and accommodating to all of our needs. All of the...

The room was tired and not clean. The balcony was dirty with an unclean ash tray. The plants (2) on the balcony were diseased and probably summed up the hotel. The location is right beside pub street with access through a bar/restaurant. If that is what you want the great but be prepared for loud music with inadequate service. The...

Hotel staff picked me up at the airport. Was accommodated in a room with roof top garden. The location was superb. I got to go down and cross the street to purchase in the marketplace my fruits for breakfast . Staff members were attentive . The reception area had some contemporary art pieces . Had fresh lotus flowers in my...

I had the pleasure to stay here for several days during the rainy season. From the first moment from when I was collected from the airport, through the resolution of a minor issue to arranging trips and helping with a small medical matter the staff could not have done more. The hotel itself is in the centre of the nightlife...

After staying in standard hotel rooms for the first half of our Asia trip, we were truly happy to get to a wide open room at the Hotel Be Angkor. It felt more like a mini apartment without a kitchen. The rooms are above a restaurant, so don't be surprised when they take you through the restaurant and up a...

Thank you for the nice review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. You will be happy to know that we have finished the renovation of the lobby and what was a tiny lobby bar is not triple the size and a sleek, elegant and comfortable space. Through the renovation we had issues with the internet. I stayed two...

I really wanted to like this place. It came highly recommended by a friend and I decided to splurge outside of my budget a bit because she raved about it so much. I paid in advance to receive a special for a suite, making it the same price as the regular rooms. First off, the owner refunded me one night...

I appreciate your review Leah, and that our compensation offer somewhat made up for the disappointing stay. When things start off wrong, like a power outage, it certainly makes a bad impression. And in this case it seemed to be whatever could go wrong, did go wrong. As for the hotel not having a generator, power outages happen a couple...

I've been to Siem Reap three separate times and lived in SE Asia for almost 2 years and this was by far the best & most unique stays I've had. This hotel had all the special touches I would expect in a Western hotel but also all the ones I would expect in an Asian one. ALL the staff were...
