Me and a friend stayed after being dropped off by a tuk tuk driver. The room was clean so we thought it would be okay. Unfortunately we didn't read reviews prior to this, we turned up late and decided this was good enough to stay one night. On arrival we paid 17 dollars for the room and the man behind...

A truly terrible experience that I wish I never had. Nearly torpedoed my impression of Siem Reap. Fortunately I made it past the dungeon master and saw the light of day at another hotel! + location - surly sneering condescending arrogant service crew. Every one of them without exception. - breakfast. Garbage. A tiny crusty old half baguette with a...

Please stay away from Ponloue Angkor Siem Reap Villa. The rooms in this hotel are small, miserable and overpriced. The towels are synthetic and so on. The owner/ receptionist is as friendly as a poisonous snake. The hotel is located in Sivatha Rd (old market area) just by the roundabout with the statue of dragons.

The Ponloue was OK and in fact, for us, above the standard of many other hostels we stayed in around SE Asia, although a little more pricey. It was tastefully decorated, the room was large, it was cleaned properly each day we stayed, and is very well located for the town. The breakfast was basic (baguette and jam) but this...

Only stayed here for one night as we were tired from the journey and just wanted a room fast. Staff appeared disinterested and not particularly welcoming. Our room, which was on the first floor with a window facing the street, was spacious and averagely clean. The bathroom was poor, towels very thin and the toilet had a broken seat. Beds...

The hotel is in a good location, near the Old Market and Pub Street. Two minutes walk. Location is perfect. The room had no windows and smelt mold. They have cable TV with English channels, mini bar and AC. The bathroom was wet (it means when you shower everything gets wet) and water was not hot. The wi-fi did not...

The title says pretty much everything... I arrived late in Siem Reap without any reservation during high season and every hotel I checked was fully booked. Starting to panic about not having a place to stay for the night, I let my tuk-tuk driver find a place for me and ended up in Ponloue villa. The driver asked me what...

Hey only about a 1 star guest house I suppose. But the postion puts you within 100 metres of all the markets. The people are helpful, the rooms clean. And the beds okay, but you might need to turn the mattress over. At $15US a night and one eggg with a rool and coffee for breakfast. I am here for...

We stayed after being told by tuc tuc drivers that everything was booked up everywhere else (or they were just not willing to pay the tuc tuc commission) it ended up fine, the rooms were huge and cheap and the staff (12 year old girl) and another guy were nice enough!

I booked from Phnom Penh, but suggest to go around once you reach Siem Riep as hotels are plenty & take your choice, I was assured a lake view balcony room & I paid a premium. Once reaching Siem Reap, I was told no such rooms available & had to content with std room at no discount. Location is good,...
