A great base for exploring Siem Reap. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money! Staff were accomodating and pleasant, providing helpful information upon check-in with the low down on where to eat and what to do as well as free pick-up from the bus station. Building was breezy and homely with films, shows, games and books all readily...

I love this place. This was the first place I stayed on my own and I was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The people there is what made my stay so memorable, especially my tuk-tuk driver Leap. The room was lovely, it was cleaned daily, the bed was so comfy (Especially the pillows, wow) and there were tea...

Really helpful staff. The room was basic but had everything we needed. They organised our transport to Angkor Wat and the airport and at fair prices. The breakfast was nice but remember to use insect repellant. Location is good and walking distance to restaurants and the main areas. There is a convenience store across the road and a few local...

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Seven Candles Guesthouse and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While the room was a bit warm at first, the fan and A/C cooled it down very nicely. The wet room shower took a little getting used to but was perfectly functional. What we liked most were the friendly people running the guesthouse....

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but functional. The bed was ok but the pillows were very hard. The shower was limited but it was an inexpensive place to stay. They told us that we could use the pool "next door" if we bought food and drink there. Turned out to be more like a block...

Thanks for your review and the heads up that the hotel down the road has suddenly changed their policy without letting us know. Luckily there are hundreds of great pools all over town, so we will turn our attention elsewhere.

Our experience Pros * Great location * Rabi was great tuk tuk driver * Attractively priced * Helpful staff * Support great cause to improve Education in Cambodia Cons (room 214) * Switch for ceiling fan (behind bed) had screw that was "hot" (gave an electric shock) * No electric plug in bathroom * Electric plug by door did not...

Thanks for your feedback and for bringing the electrical problems in room 214 to the front desk. They have been remedied. It's not safe in a developing country to have electrical outlets in a bathroom, especially in a wet room, so that's why there aren't any in there. Instrastructure is just not yet up to par. :) Also, I hope...

A cozyguesthouse with surprisingly good standards considering the price of the rooms. No breakfast included, but a little café right by where you could order western breakfast freshly made for a reasonable price. Otherwise I can recommend to grab a bah-min (Vietnamese baguette) on the street (2 for a dollar) - super tasty!

For those wanting to leave a contribution to those working to improve the lives and educational prospects of Cambodian children, this is the place to stay. As well, it is very well run, staff are friendly and helpful, it's close to town, affordable, tidy and comfortable!

We chose this guest house at random and were delighted by the experience. It was greater than just a place to stay although one could - and have a yoga session with Marina at 6am one of the Ly family who own the guesthouse. But as well the older sister runs the Ponheary Ly Foundation supporting and encouraging a 'school...
