We've stayed here on a prior occasion and chose to return for our 6 day visit to Siem Reap. We were greeted with a cool fruit drink and made feel welcome. We had booked direct from Sihanoukville and were able to overcome a small language difficulty, taking 2 rooms one with an upgrade on arrival. This place is value for...

Welcoming and friendly staff, pity they didnt prepare the room so we didnt have to wait for the room on our arrival. They politely asked us to wait for them so they can ready the room. Would have been better because of the heat outside and we could relax in the cool room

I stay in Siem Reap often for work. This time I decided to try a new hotel. I have to say I was very happy with Angkor Pearl Hotel and will definitely go back there again. It was great value for money and the included breakfast was excellent. And, most importantly, the staff were very friendly. Will definitely recommend to...

great little hotel in the toen of Siem Reap. Walking distance to "pub street" where most of the markets, eating and drinking places are but far enough away to be quiet. There isn't a pool, which would give them an extra mark. The breakfast is fairly ok but not grreat. However, the very friendly and helpful staff make up for...

I was doing a solo trip to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat and other temples and wanted to be conservative on cost incurred. Angkor Pearl Hotel was great value for money at just $24/night (on Agoda). It was walking distance (1 km or about) from town "recreation" centre (Pub Street). The small hotel had no frills but there was...

What was good - The room is overall clean and big, the bed was very comfortable. You get water and instant coffee everyday in your room. The staff is welcoming and friendly. What was not - the water had a brownish color, not sure if it's siem reap water or only from my shower, which was rusty. I could taste...

Staying at a budget hotel means you have to lower your expectations & be happy if it's a nice place to stay at, the place should have the basics down pat at the least. We were given a fourth floor room, the place was old but it felt homey & some reception people are friendly. As I wasn't expecting much...

It is a budget hotel but it has all the amenities one require during the travel. The rooms are neat and clean with good beds. The staff at the reception speak English which is very important in Cambodia for the foreign visitors. The draw backs are, breakfast and the quality of sleep. There is not much choice in breakfast. Particularly...

3 nights are not enough! We should have stayed in Siem Reap longer when traveling in Cambodia. The hotel is clean, the staff were all friendly and not annoying. The breakfast buffet was tasty. It is a great location and well priced. My only suggestion is to improve the Wi-fi.

New Team New Services New facilities New ways to Make you smile Oct. 2011. New and improved Angkor Pearl ensuring the best value in Cambodian Hotels run and managed by Cambodian-Americans. At Angkor Pearl Hotel, we pride ourselves on quality of service on a genuinely high level and an emphasis on catering to our guest’s every need with courtesy and warmth. Angkor Pearl Hotel is Cambodian owned, operated, and managed by Cambodian Americans since February of 2010. The story behind the pearl dates back years when Cambodia gained independence from France and King Sihanouk called the Capitol "The Pearl of Asia." Hence, we call ourselves The Pearl of Siem Reap. The Angkor Pearl Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Siem Reap. A brisk 10 minute walk lead you to the center market where you can shop for food, clothes, souvenirs, and many more. Getting to the Temples is just as easy. A scenic 15 minute drive will take you back in time to the Khmer civilization where you will discover all of Angkor’s natural beauty. ... more   less
