Very nice boutique hotel, particularly relevant when there is a small group of you staying together. Location of place plus Transport was absolutely fine in that a trip to town in a Tuk Tuk was most enjoyable taking a leisurely 10-15 mins and only costing USD 2. Rooms overlooking the pool were good, but wish we had chosen one with... More

We went as a group and were treated, upon our arrival, to some lovely monkey entertainers. Very enjoyable. Then we went inside for our special meal which was preselected for us. We also enjoyed some dancers during our meal breaks. All the food was very good and the selection was wonderful.

La tradicion d'Angkor is a nice hotel, with very few rooms, in a very quiet area between the airport and the center of Siem Reap. The rooms are very big and well equiped, with some "ancient taste" due to the generous use of dark wood in the decoration. In some aspects, the hotel seems to need some refurbisment or maintenance... The hotel had great service, friendly and attentive. Airport pick-up was smooth and reception was inviting. However, we were the ONLY people there. As such, they did not have breakfast on-site, but would drive us to another property. Dinner wasn't available either. I don't think they cleaned the pool either and there was something odd about the water. The rooms... More

Food was very expensive. Swimming pool should have been out of action as the pump was not working. Breakfast was poor. Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Had an issue with hot water, but this was resolved quickly. Free airport transfer was good.

Arrived at the hotel on the evening of the 29th of February after leaving the poor weather of Hoi An.Only ten minutes from the airport was a bonus after the travelling. The room 204 was on the first floor and the boys struggled with our heavy cases up the ornate wooden stairs. No lift in this colonial type hotel. After settling in we... Good value for money, nice rooms and room interiors. Definitely recommended if you dont intend to stay too much time at the hotel. Nothing wrong with the hotel but nothing much to do inside. Anyway Siem Reap is a place not to stay indoor rather explore temples.

I stayed here the first night of my trip, so I wanted a good night sleep. Unfortunately for me, the A/C did not work, which made it hard to get rest. Also when I got there, there was no light on, and some guy came and took my bags. We walked in the dark for a while and ended up... More

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are big and pool is relaxing. But the service was non-existent. There were very few guests so maybe there were few staff. Breakfast was average. The aircon didn't work in our room and it was 36 degrees. There was no shower head. The rooms were clean though.

A small resort with very few guests. While they don't actually lie in their description its not exactly truthful either. To me it looked like the hotel was once a stunning place, perhaps left to deteriorate then someone had bought it cheap had some fantastic ideas to get it going again but then ran out of money. 1st breakfast (included...
