Trailfinders suggested this hotel as our base for visiting the Angkor temples but we decided to extend our stay from 2 to 5 days and what a great decision that turned out to be. We had specified an upgrade but even without that, I am sure we would have been delighted. With the

A special, very small, thoughtfully designed luxury hotel to let you escape from the hideousness of mass tourism and chill awhile in the lovely tropical gardens. It’s a little way out of the town centre (if you’re the sort of person that likes this type of hotel then that won’t b

My husband and i stayed here for 4 nights on our recent honeymoon and have to say this was one of the best hotels and customer service we have experienced. Nothing was too much, all staff members were super smiley and polite and couldn't do enough for us.

Everything was great, no negative comments. Good breakfast, wonderful and friendly staff, amazing pool and location. The rooms were cleaned two times per day, there was always water, flowers and something sweet to enjoy in the evenings. We recommend doing the Cambodian dance show

Can anybody tell me who do I need to call and book a private driver for 5 days?
I would suggest contacting the following: Asia Vipa Travel and Tours and talk to Mr. Vivath. My husband and I took a 5 day package which included driver, guide, lunch and dinner. The most fabulous journey. Enjoy the trip

Hi, could anyone tell how much are the prices for the airport transfer and the 3-day tour?
Hi, I paid 155 for 3 day tour which included dinner drinks and a show. The tour was private with driver and a English speaking tour guide, was worth every cent!

Does the pool get much sunshine? Do you get allocated beds or can you pick any of them?
Hi, There is 2 options here, the pool villa's (which we had) have their own pool, it is modelled on a round house, so there are 4 suites surrounding a private (well semi private) pool. Depending on time of day for sun I guess. The normal rooms follow along a "river pool" which all have access to. This resort is a "botanical garden" so lots of trees and shade. If you are going soon I would suggest the last thing you will be looking for is sun. We were there in the cooler time (Nov) and it was very hot!! (I am originally from outback Australia so I know hot) For my opinion if you have the budget take a pool villa, but you may not get all day sun on your private sun bed. We loved this resort it is about 1/2 way between the town centre and Angkor Wat. BUT I think it is a little overpriced for the area and DO NOT use the Spa. Looking once there I noted that all the Boutique hotels look very good. DONT use the bigger hotels, they will have a big pool but just truck in busloads of tourists. I looked at your reviews to understand what you may need and it seems your a foodie so a must is the Sugar Palm restaurant. Make an evening Booking (you must book, very popular), go when you first get there, you may want to eat more than once. I prefer "street" food, but sometimes there are special ones like this. Pub street, better to avoid restaurants there, but the little side streets around offer great choices. Check my reviews re the hotel and areas around. Advise to take a tour guide, its cheap and you will get better understanding of the history, we didn't, mistake!! This is a special place for sure, get the most from it. If you have the budget I am told Raffles Grand Hotel is exceptional. Enjoy. Cheers...
